  • Review by: Salvo22
  • Pros: The best softball bat for ASA right now is the Easton Salvo. I use the Salvo 3 nights a week on 2 different softball teams. I try to keep it for myself but my team always ends up using the bat. Oh well, it's a team bat now I guess. But seriously, buy the Easton Salvo and save the other $100 you were going to spend and buy a nice pair of cleats and softball pants. I like the 12 inch barrel on the salvo better than the 13.5" barrels , it is easier to swing in my opinion.

  • Review by: Cody Gengler
  • Pros: bought this bat and hated it for the first 3 months of owning it. Thought it was a log. After about 500 BP swings it started to open up and WOW! This thing is legit once broken in. handle hits aren't very forgiving, but hit the sweetspot and watch it fly! Price is also a giant selling point for these.
  • Cons: none that would make me not buy another

  • Pros: Looks great and it has good pop. It isnt super heavy or end-loaded.
  • Cons: Definitely had to do a lot of BP to get this bat going. One of our teammates bought it and it took awhile to break it in. After that it worked great.

  • Review by: Jonathon Z.
  • Pros: I used this bat for my 3rd year in slow pitch softball and absolutely Loved it. I read the reviews last winter, saw the price and I had to get it. At the beginning of my season I was the only one around my area with this bat. Throughout the course of the summer traveling to tournaments around the state of Michigan, I found that more people have purchased this bat. I encouraged friends to get this very hot bat. I had never hit a home run in slow pitch before. This year I hit 30+ easily clearing the fence. I will continue using this bat each year. The Easton Salvo is the real deal!
  • Cons: None at all!

  • Review by: Jeremy4755
  • Pros: The Salvo bat has a very nice feel to it, very evenly weighted. A lot of bats these days (not end loaded bats) still feel as if the weight is not distributed properly, this is not one of those bats, I have used this bat a couple of times now and am finally ready to give up on my Toxic and my older Synergy. The ball truly does seem to jump off of the bat and the sweet spot is larger than I am accustom to. My first swing with the bat was a long line drive to center and it was much deeper than I was anticipating. Higly recommend.

  • Pros: Got this bat in April hadn\'t heard a thing about it... a couple months later after using it two nights a week and a couple BP session, this thing got hot, out performing Mutants and Mayhems alike on my teams. I never feel like I miss a ball with it now. Awesome control and overall performance. Best sporting good purchase I'be ever made.
  • Cons: Bad thing about it.... other people use it Lol. I wish I had 2.

  • Pros: Thoroughly pleased! Pushin 60 have always been a `spray' hitter/chalk raising kind of player - Guess who's ropin em now! 1st composite and love its sound - a little bat speed and cya! Everyone's got their grubs on it so I quietly bought a `back up'! Thank you Easton ... affordable `pop'!
  • Cons: Other people can't keep their hands off it!

  • Review by: Justin Hatch
  • Pros: Good right out of the wrapper (or so I thought). Hope it was just a bad individual bat.
  • Cons: After 120 swings, bat developed a rattle. Sounds like the wall separated from the barrel. League umpire disqualified it. Have a call into Easton customer service department for a warranty replacement.
