Louisville Slugger put their best engineers on the task of making the best softball bat ever. They succeeded with the new Z2000 softball bat. New inner disc technology gives a larger sweet spot than ever before, along with a thinner wall in the bat barrel. This thin, new barrel uses more composite material than previous Louisville Slugger softball bats, but is still thinner, lighter, and more durable. This LS 2X composite used in the ASA Z2000 is space age, and is built by a company that makes parts for F1 racecars. The Z2000 ASA Balanced softball bat has a one year warranty from Louisville Slugger, and is approved for play in ASA. Game ready from the first pitch, no break in required.

Pros: Ball simply flys off this bat! Hit 7 out of about 20 way over the 310' fence during BP. Break in period is minimal. Has a very distinct sound when first using it, but after break in is more like a aluminum.
Cons: Concerned that sound might throw umpires off and think it is broken. Sounds almost like glass.

Pros: This bat was absolutely hot right out of the wrapper. Usually play w/ a 27oz, but the extra 3ozs weren't an issue. Whole team loved this bat, we hit it so well the other team thought it was shaved.
Cons: Only con is that I don't have more of these.

Pros: Hot bat right out of the wrapper. Ball has a lot of pop right off the bat. I helps a lot of players up their level. Females on the team love hitting this bat because they can hit the ball harder and farther with this bat.
Cons: White grip on the handle looks great but is kind of slippery when its new. The bat sounds like no other bat out there when you hit it. Sounds like aluminum but crushes the ball like a composite.
