2013 Louisville Slugger Z2000 End Loaded Slowpitch Softball Bat

The 2013 TPS Z2000 Louisville Slugger softball bat uses a low tech solution to beat a high tech test. The space age composite used in the Z2000 softball bat is one of the best in softball. The S1 id technology uses two discs in the barrel of the bat to prevent the barrel from flexing beyond legal limits, this means your Z2000 is ready to go from the first swing you put on it... Not to mention a larger sweet spot than ever before. The new LS 2X composite is thinner, stronger, and lighter than previous Louisville Slugger softball bats. This means more material in the barrel, but thinner walls, giving you better performance and increased durability.

Softball Bat Features:

  • LS-2X composite barrel
  • iST technology
  • End Load swing weight for massive power
  • Synthetic grip, 7/8" standard handle
  • 12" barrel offers a generous sweet spot
  • USSSA 1.20 BPF, NSA, ISF, ISA approved (Not approved for play in ASA)

  • Pros: A little break in time to get the fire started on these Z-2000's. Had the opportunity of owning these unique sounding bats back from the OG UTRIP Z-1000 days to current EL and BAL Z-2000 versions. It's one of those bats at the park, you here this freaking boomimg sound- and all you say is "what the hell was that sound? As the ball is flying over the fences. Joyful bat to have, but if your welling to have a short lived bat that has tremendous POP AND DISTANCE - GET ONE NOW! I'm not a masher, but all the bats sawtoothed in ASA play using .40/.44 cor Dudleys. (SOCAL weather)
  • Cons: Gave it a 4 because of Durability issues. LS - if you fix the durability issues you may come out of having one of the best bats.

  • Pros: Very hot out of wrapper...Hits bombs with ease
  • Cons: Durability issue is a big problem...Our tourney team had one took out of wrapper and two players used it and the barrel was destroyed...Bout 50 hits and it looked like it was biten by a shark all the way around

  • Cons: nothing besides the white grip(that i already replaced with an custom grip). other than that there is nothing wrong

  • Pros: one of the hottest bats on the market today.i started using the "Z" bats with the 2012 model z1000 and this bat owns it's little brother plus some. i've won 3 homerun derbies already this year and plan on continuing to make that count higher. the z2000 comes with a perfect grip tape for my liking and is hot right out of the wrapper. there's no need to worry about getting a few swings with it at BP before you use it in the game. for being a two piece bat you honestly can't tell like you could the z1000. very reliable bat can't wait for the next model.
  • Cons: not much wrong with this bat it does have a little give in it compared to the z2000+.

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: I used it twice and it cracked. I guess that is what I get for buying a bat with no warranty. I have owned numerous bats in my life with warranties, and I have never broke a bat.
