Rawlings took the bat that has utterly dominated the College World Series the past few years and wanted to see what they could do better. Well, the answer was 'not much'. Rawlings improved the durability by updated the end cap design, adding a little more weight to the end of the bat in the process. Rawlings also reversed the color pattern on the BBCOR 5150 to distinguish it from previous model years.
