  • Pros: The looks of the bat
  • Cons: My Team and I have bought three of these bats in the last month or so. these bats have absolutely no integrity. this last one I just bought busted in 5 hits in 80 Degree weather. Absolutely horrible bats. The other two lasted 2 games apiece before pretty much exploding. Tip for everyone don't buy this bat.

  • Pros: Manager of my team bought this bat for us all. Bat swings very well. Love the contact it creates with the ball. We try to just hit line drives and this bat seems to do a better job than the regular steel simply because this has a bit less pop and the hits don't reach the outfielders as fast. Overall a great bat for the money.
  • Cons: Just like previous raw steel models I have seen them crack in cooler weather. Manufacturer says 65 degrees and up but we dont use it unless its at least 70-75.

  • Pros: Has a great amount of pop...right out of the package! 1st game using it we got 2 home runs! Feels solid when hitting, almost like you are hitting a tennis ball & not a softball!
  • Cons: I didn't like the grip it came with, so we covered it with tape.

  • Pros: I play in a clincher and sb-44 core leagues, right out from the wrapper this bat was hitting seeds. Very impressed how the ball just jumps off this bat. My teammates have the 2013 model and the 2014 model is just as explosive.
  • Cons: The only con which I don't like is the bat grip, the electrical tape type feel, not feeling it. Last year's 2013 grip way better.

  • Pros: Legal in just about every league, even coeds with strict rules. Seems sturdy, using this and the white steel and this barrel is staying true, white steel has started denting. Old school look! This is my go to bat for coed and single wall aluminum leagues and tourneys! So far great bat!
  • Cons: None yet!

  • Pros: Great bat for single wall can hang with the composites good with the 44/375 and the 52/300 like the stiffer handle compared to the white steel and nice end load
  • Cons: Can dent with the 44/375 and don't use when it is less the 60 degrees out, make sure to rotate the barrel each swing and it won't dent as quick

  • Pros: A nice bat for the single wall aluminum bat league. We have a lot of tournament players on our team and they are all pretty comfortable swining this one. Play in California and bat is holding up for games in the upper 50s and low 60s.

  • Do you have a 28oz raw steel?
  • Asked by Tony
  • We only have 26oz. available.

  • what is the difference between the 2014 raw steel and the 2014 white steel? which one is is better for power hitters?
  • Asked by kevin
  • The DeMarini White Steel has a C6 composite handle while the DeMarini Raw Steel has a steel handle. Some single wall leagues require all alloy bats and will meet that requirement. The Raw steel having an alloy handle will be stiffer as well from the White Steel.

  • its a 2 pcs bat is handle composite what is cs4 alloy
  • Asked by gary
  • The handle on the 2014 DeMarini Raw Steel is an alloy meaning a form of metal. The CS4 Alloy is NOT a composite. This bat does have the 2 piece design but is constructed with both an alloy handle and barrel.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this bat 1 or 2 piece?
  • Asked by Ehren
  • This is a 2 piece bat.
