2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz WTDXVXC-14

2014 BBCOR DeMarini NVS Vexxum Baseball Bat - Minus 3

Our new DeMarini NVS BBCOR design is used in the 2014 Vexxum. The NVS barrel (New Velocity System) brings added power and speed together as one. This never before seen technology creates an explosive sweet spot that extends almost the entire length of the barrel. Combine a huge barrel with the lowest swing weight ever built in a BBCOR bat, and you have the new, 2014 DeMarini NVS BBCOR Vexxum. A combination of Power and Speed is what makes the ball go farther. You supply the Power, we supply the Speed.

Our exclusive X10 alloy in the barrel is a great metal by itself, but it is the little things we do with it that make the most difference. Using multi-million dollar machining equipment specially designed to do this, we are able to shape parts of the inner wall thinner in spots to reduce material where it is not needed, and perfect the overall barrel walls to make the best bats possible.

C6 Composite handle is designed for single wall barrel bats like the 2014 NVS. The wide layout of the carbon fiber weave of materials works together with the barrel to trampoline when you hit the ball, giving you the maximum allowable pop. Half and Half design is what put us on the map. Our fine tuned barrel and handle marriage is so good, we have all but eliminated vibration in your hands.

N2M End Cap is the lightest possible end cap we can possibly make, and designed especially for the 2014 NVS barrel. The build quality of every part of a DeMarini bat is taken into account, and the end cap is no exception.

Here at DeMarini, we think you need to be a little crazy to break records when it comes to performance. The little things matter most when creating bats, and the details add up to a bat that is second to none. We obsess about this stuff. Making the best bats in the world is what we do. We strive for perfection, and our bats show it. We will never stop.

Why it's a Best Seller: The 2014 NVS is priced right. Pop and performance is on par with bats that are twice the price. Light weight, easy to swing. Forgiving barrel, and composite handle that has little to no sting/vibration. Not every baseball player needs a $400 BBCOR. Best value for an adult bat.

  • X10 Aluminum Barrel
  • NVS Lightweight Barrel

  • Pros: I got to try out the 2014 DeMarini NVS Vexxum bbcor at the CheapBats.com batting cage and I think this bat is going to be very popular this year and may be one of the best bbcor bats for 2014. The NVS is really light. It feels like the Easton S1, it is so balanced, and there is plenty of pop off the barrel.
  • Cons: No cons on this bat.

  • Pros: I got to try this bbcor bat out for about 50 hits. The balance on this bat is very good. Great pop off the barrel. Overall, the pop is great and the balance makes the Vexxum bbcor a very nice option for people that like a two piece bat. I do think the handle is stiffer than most two piece bats because I could not even really tell I was swinging a two piece. There was no vibration, because of the composite handle. And they told me the barrel is the same metal as the 2014 Voodoo has. I swung the 2014 Voodoo and like that too, but it was heavier for sure.
  • Cons: No cons.

  • Pros: I really can't believe how balanced the 2014 vexxum is. So far the bat is holding up well with no signs of paint chipping. The barrel is bigger than the older bbcor vexxum.
  • Cons: The white grip is dirty from being used.

  • Pros: Got this bat right when it came out so I have had a good amount of time to get used to it. I would have to say this is by far thr best bat for the price. I had the xl3 which costs the same amount and this bat has much more pop and is much more responsive. It is also one of the most balanced bat available. This is a great company with fast shipping I recommend that you order here and get excellent service!

  • Pros: Bought this for my 12 yr old to prepare for next season. We are new to BBCOR and decided to give this one a try. My son hit 34 HR this yr in LL with an Anderson Techzilla (fantastic but fragile bat)and I had high hopes for this bat. I really do not have much to compare it to other than the Bamboo 32 Inch I also bought for my son. The wood bat seems so much more lively than the Vexxum which suprised me. But, everyone I spoke with said that the BBCOR bats in general stink. He does hit it well and consistent. It is well balance and seems lighter than it is. The Techzilla's are end loaded for power, this bat will take some getting use to by him. It is a great looking bat and I have no reason not to give it 5 stars.
  • Cons: Bat came with a couple paint chips right out of the box. Grip becomes very dirty, very fast. Do not like the fat handle down by the pinky finger.

  • Pros: Fantastic bbcor bat! The vexxum is in my opinion, the best new bbcor for 2014. And it doesnt cost $400 or more dollars. Super balanced with good pop, although the barrel is a little smaller than the CF6 ($400)

  • Are all BBCOR baseball bats -3? My son plays Little League 50/70 and the rules state he needs a BBCOR bat if he's going to use a composite barrel bat. The -3 bats are really heavy for him (he's 12). What are my options for bats as he can't swing a -3 well enough to be affective. Are the Youth big Barrel bats considered 'composite barrel bats? I need help and want to get him a bat.
  • Asked by scott
  • All BBCOR bats are going to be minus three bats. If your son needs to swing a lighter bat he needs a senior league bat that has an alloy barrel. The DeMarini Vexxum, DeMarini Voodoo Overlord, Easton S3, Easton S2, Rip Air, and Rawlings 5150 are a few options.
  • Answered by Kevin Bat Expert
  • Do you recommend the NVS Vexxum over the Overlord Voodoo for someone who needs help with bat speed? Will being balanced help?
  • Asked by Jessie
  • The Vexxum is the most balanced DeMarini BBCOR bat they sell. The barrel is a little smaller because that helps make the Vexxum lighter and easier to swing. I would highly recommend this bat for a player who needs to increase their bat speed. The CF6 is also very balanced, but the barrel is about an inch longer than the NVS Vexxum.
