2014 Easton B1.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SP14B1

The balanced Easton B1.0 is a two-piece softball bat with SIC Black Carbon in the handle to reduce felt vibration and improve the way the bat feels in your hands. The barrel is constructed of the same legendary IMX Composite that has been used in Easton softball bat barrels for several years, giving you a MASSIVE sweet spot and unrivaled performance.

USSSA - The B1.0 is approved for play in 1.20 USSSA, ISA, ISF, ISA, and NSA.

Balanced - A balanced softball bat will feel lighter than an end loaded bat that is the same weight because more mass is located closer to the knob than the end cap. Balanced bats can be swung faster and controlled with greater ease than end loaded models.

Two-Piece - The 2014 Easton B1.0 handle and barrel are joined together in the middle of the bat using the patented ConneXion rubber piece. The ConneXion will reduce vibration, and give the bat a more "whip" like feel.

12 Month Warranty - The One Year Warranty is back. 2014 Easton Slowpitch Bats will have a warranty against defects for 365 days from the date of purchase.

Easton B1.0 Slowpitch Bat Features:
  • Feel optimized by patented two-piece ConneXion Technology
  • IMX Composite barrel optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance
  • SIC Black Carbon handle improves feel and reduces vibration
  • 13.5" Barrel Length
  • USSSA 1.20 Certified
  • One Year Manufacturer's Warranty

  • Pros: This is a review based on the 2013 b1.0 that they are not selling anymore. Talk about a bat with some pop. This bat has a good break in period of about 50-75 balls but man once its broken in this thing is amazing. This baby really flies. Im a small guy. 5'9'' 165 lbs. Ive obviously never been a power hitter and never saw myself as someone that would jog around the bases but this bat shoots missles off and if you hit the sweet spot..there aint no doubt about it. its gone! i would be trotting the bases for sure this year. I bouth the 28oz. Im on a softball time and the "actual home run hitters actually prefer this bat over some of their miken end loaded bats. Thats saying something. Get this bat! This is a line drive, base hit bat for sure. but like i said you hit that sweet spot and this baby is gone! absolutely love this bat. When this one wears out ill def be buying another one.
  • Cons: Only con is the grip. Its really thing and will give you really bad blisters. Replace the grip with lizard skin tape and once i did this bat got even hotter!

  • Pros: Bat is hot out of the wrapper, hits missles through the infield. Can't wait until it breaks in. Bat has a nice balance, made the switch from swinging endload bats for 15 years to a balance bat as I am getting older. The bat has a slight end load and I notice I can get through the zone quicker.

  • Pros: Shipped and delivered fast. Not a hot bat out of the wrapper but that is to be expected with an Easton, and that's what I wanted a GOOD BP bat that will eventually be game ready.

  • Review by: Mark M
  • Pros: Nothing beats Easton's durability. Bat has a good look and overall solid feel to it. No vibrations with the CXN piece. Pop is decent for a balanced bat that's not completely broken in, I usually hit end loaded but thought I'd give this a shot since it was such a great price.
  • Cons: This bat will take a while to break in. You might want to buy a tee. Not a fan of the gauze grip but switched that out already.

  • Pros: This one is a little softer than last years model and a little more forgiving on miss hits. It takes around 300-400 hits to really open up. If you have the 2013 model you will want to pick this one up especially at this price!

  • Pros: Good looking bat with noticeable pop right out of the wrapper. 2 piece system helps with vibration. Hitting significantly farther than my old alloy bat.
  • Cons: Recommendations from the manufacturer state not to use the bat when temperatures are below 60 degrees or run the risk of damaging the bat. Hard in Utah spring leagues to avoid games when the temperature is less than 60.

  • Pros: I had the 2014 ASA equivalent, but our travel team plays mostly USSSA tournaments, so I purchased this one since I enjoyed the ASA version so much. Even though the ASA is suppose to be "hotter", this bat played better right out of the wrapper than my ASA version I have had for a year.

  • Pros: Great bat! Was looking for a bat to replace my 2013 Easton stealth 100. This bat has the same feel and swing. I took it to the ball field to see if I would use it for the game that night. I cut off the wrapper and was pitched 6 balls and I hit 3 out of 6 balls out of a 300 foot field. I was very happy with this bat so I ordered a backup the same day!

  • What is the difference between this bat and the 2013 easton st100 (SP12ST100)
  • Asked by Jake
  • The Easton B1.0 SP14B1 replaced the 2013 Easton Stealth ST100. Both bats are very similar using the same material and vary in graphics.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Looking for a solid bat to last me for about two years. I'm skeptical on purchasing because the price seems TOO good and I'm looking for a bat to start taking. Can I trust this one?
  • Asked by Stan
  • Bats do not have any guarantee on how long they will last. The Easton B1.0 SP14B1 does come with a one year manufacturer's warranty. The life of the bat will all depend on the weather you are using it in, the amount of swings you will use on it, and the types of balls used. We cannot guarantee a certain amount of hits on any bat unfortunately.

  • Does this bat have the NSA 2012 stamp on it?

  • How is the power for this bat? I have the b4.0 (Asa)and driving homers almost every hit. I need a good homerun bat for usssa. Would you recommend this bat or one the L5
  • Asked by Dylan
  • Both the Easton B1.0 and the Easton L5.0 are going to be great performing bats with a faster exit speed of the ball coming off the barrel from your ASA B4.0 bat. It will come down to if you prefer a one piece end loaded bat, such as the L5.0 or a two piece balanced bat such as the B1.0. Both bats will have comparable performance and you will need to make a personal choice on what style fits you best.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Other than the stamps is there a difference between the B1 and the B3??

  • No, the 2014 Easton B1.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SP14B1 and the 2014 Easton B3.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP14B3 are made with the same exact materials and are constructed the same exact way. They are each just finely tuned SLIGHTLY differently to be approved for either ASA or USSSA.

  • Asked by Sonny
  • All composite barrel bats do require a break in period. Some bats do require more than others.
