2014 Easton B3.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP14B3

Built with control and balance in mind for the elite ASA softball player. The B3.0 is a two-piece softball bat with SIC Black Carbon in the handle to reduce felt vibration and improve the way the bat feels in your hands. The barrel is built using the same proven IMX Composite that has been used in Easton softball bat barrels for several years, giving you a MASSIVE sweet spot and unrivaled performance.

ASA - The B3.0 is approved for play in ASA and ISF. Since the recent ASA rule change, some say the new ASA standard is as hot or hotter than the current USSSA 1.20 BPF standard.

Balanced - A balanced softball bat will feel lighter than an end loaded bat that is the same weight because more mass is located closer to the knob than the end cap. Balanced bats can be swung faster and controlled with greater ease than end loaded models.

Two-Piece - The 2014 B3.0 Slowpitch Bat handle and barrel are joined together in the middle of the bat using the patented ConneXion rubber piece. The ConneXion will reduce vibration, and give the bat a more "whip" like feel. If you prefer a more solid feel, try the 2014 Easton B3.0 ASA model or the L6.0 ASA one-piece bat.

12 Month Warranty - The One Year Warranty is back. 2014 Easton Slowpitch Bats will have a warranty against defects for 365 days from the date of purchase.

2014 B3.0 Easton Softball Bat Features:
  • Feel optimized by patented two-piece ConneXion Technology
  • IMX Composite barrel optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance
  • SIC Black Carbon handle improves feel and reduces vibration
  • 13.5" Barrel Length
  • Approved for Play in ASA and ISF
  • One Year Manufacturer's Warranty

  • Pros: I wasn't sure about the B3 from Easton when I ordered it but wanted to give it a shot after using a friend's for 1 at bat. The break in period was give or take 60-80 swings. Once it got hot it became a rocket launcher. Every good swing I put on this thing sent laser beams through the infield and in the power alleys. I am starting to love this thing.
  • Cons: Grip is so so.

  • Pros: This bat is NO joke. Great for base hitters and power hitters. I purchased this bat so I could have a good balanced base hit bat. What has happened is I accidentaly hit homeruns with this thing on a regular basis. Easton balanced bats hit just as far as some of their endloads. Has become my Asa gamer after 2 tournaments.

  • Pros: Great feel and swing weight. I typically swing the L2 and purchased this bat for my wife to swing in a church league that only allows ASA bats. I took some cuts with it and was surprised at how well it drove the ball straight out of the wrapper. Typically Easton's have a long break-in period so I am excited to see this one open up. Can't go wrong with the L2 or the B3.
  • Cons: None so far, not a big fan of the gauze grip but switching that out for a lizard skin is pretty simple

  • Pros: What can I say...this bat is great right out the wrapper. Huge sweet spot and just gets better and better. This is thee go to bat just as the previous years model. Line drives and ground balls alike come screaming off this bat. Opposing teams are always asking what model it is after seeing how the ball jumps off this bat.
  • Cons: Don't like the gauze grip, especially when not using batting gloves and it wears out fast.

  • Pros: Love this bat! Really smooth quick swings with this bat, nice sweet spot on it, great for placement hitters but if you barrel this baby it the ball is a goner. Had the 2013 model and these things last like ive never seen out of a comp bat.
  • Cons: bat takes awhile to come alive, have about 200+ cuts on mine and its a live wire now but was kinda a dud outta the wrapper.

  • Pros: Right away, I began to break in the bat just so that i can get it even all throughout. The bat was hot right off the first hit. It had so much pop, with little to no vibrations. I should have bought 2 when it was $99.
  • Cons: The grip feels a little flimsy and i prefer it to be a bit more girthier. But it was resolved with an overgrip.

  • Pros: This is my 5th Easton bat. This bat took some good breaking in to get going. 80 balls at half power into a net. Then another 60 at full swing. Two rounds of BP with most of my team and this thing is very solid. 4 good hitters at 15 balls per person and there were 27 homers. I numbered the sides with a label maker to ensure proper rotation during break in. Great bat now!
  • Cons: I hate this grip, replaced it with lizard skin and its much better. Not hot out of the wrapper. Its usable for sure but its a whole new bat after break in.

  • Pros: Short soft toss break in (about 30-40 swings) then about 40 more swings at BP. First 2 at bats were solid hits, but could feel that neither were hit perfect. 3rd at bat and I put it 300+ OTF and into a creek. You can feel that its still caged, but about 100 more swings and I think the beast is coming out. Will update midway through next season.
  • Cons: Grip was a little thin, but not a big deal with gloves. Few stingers Replaced the grip after soft toss

  • Pros: My first season in a slow pitch league and I could not be happier with my purchase. This bat has been broken in by the second game and everyone on the team loves the way the ball flies off the bat. I took my time researching bats and simply could not pass this up.
  • Cons: The only cons I've heard from my team was the size of the grip, but that could easily be fixed with a new grip. I love the way it feels.

  • Pros: I purchased the 28oz version. The bat has a lot of pop right out of the wrapper. It is exactly what I've been looking for. I hit balls well over a 317' distance fence that is about 15' high. The bat speed is great. I'm a big guy (5'11'' 235lbs), so I can put a lot behind the bat, but my other bats haven't given these same results (ASA Worth 454 green/white)
  • Cons: The grip is not my favorite, but that is easily replaceable.

  • Pros: Absolutely underrated... ABSOLUTELY If you are hitting a 52/300 this bat will launch that ball.... I did not expect this bat to perform the way it did. I swung a 300-400 hit B3 and we were hitting 350+ foot shots with ease. Because this bat gets much hotter sooner than most Eastons I own and/or swung I do not know much about the durability. I suspect that the B3 ASA is thinner walled to keep up with Miken/Worth/Demarini for the 52/300.
  • Cons: None at all......... You guys need to stop complaining about the grips on Eastons and get custom grips. I use Tennis Racket grips and they feel unreal when you swing

  • Pros: Purchased this bat last week, and was impressed with the performance. For a 2 year old model,it holds its own with all of the newer 2016 bats out there, didn't take long to break in,and the balls fly off of this thing.I find it very similar to the Easton Salvo with the only difference being that it is a 2 I love the balance of this bat,and would definitle purchase another one especially at this price point.Great bat for anyone with not much power in their swing, and ND the s.i.c carbon technology eliminates any vibration from contact in bad spots. Really happy with this bat.
  • Cons: I honestly have nothing negative to say about this bat.

  • My League requires the ASA 2003 or newer approval stamp. Does this bat have the stamp?
  • Asked by Pat
  • The 2014 Easton B3.0 will have the newest ASA stamp on it at this time.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I am in a league where they use a Gray dot 400lb compression Cor 40 ball but require ASA bats. Will this bat work for that type of ball. I tried to read up on it and became more confused. It seems like the 2013 ASA bats aren't build for a ball that hard and I could even break the bat. please advise. Note: the other league I am in uses a 52cor 275comp. I would assume this bat would work fine for that ball
  • Asked by George
  • All ASA bats are made now for the .52 core 300 lb compression balls. Using a harder ball will have more wear and tear on your bat. The .40 core 400 lb compression ball is quite a bit harder than the standard ASA ball. The B3.0 will work but as you stated does take the risk of breaking.

  • Is this bat 2012 NSA approved?
  • Asked by Melissa
  • The 2014 Easton B3.0 SP14B3 Slowpitch Softball Bat is NOT 2012 NSA approved. This bat is NOT approved by NSA.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • What is the 2015 equivalent (or closest to an equivalent) of the SP14B3?
  • Asked by HighDesertBruin
  • The 2015 Easton Raw Power Bryson Baker Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP15BBA would be the 2015 version of the SP14B3 bat. They are both ASA approved, 2-piece, composite (IMX), and have 13.5" barrel lengths.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • I am strictly a line drive placement singles hitter. Was wondering if you would recommend the B3 or B4 for potentially some additional power.
  • Asked by Jeff
  • Most line drive hitters prefer a balanced bat such as the Easton B3.0 or B4.0. Many of the hitters who are gap to gap or home run hitters tend to prefer a more top heavy, end loaded, or max loaded bat. The end load forces a power hitter to utilize the top hand of their swing creating more back spin to increase distance.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Just a general question as to why this particular bat is at such a low price. Are the 2014's just clearing out?
  • Asked by Rey
  • The 2015 models will be released shortly.
