2014 Easton L5.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA End Loaded SP14L5

The best value in softball is the Easton 5.0 USSSA bat. The 5.0 has the same composite in the barrel as the more expensive Easton Slowpitch Bats, but the handle uses the IMX Composite instead of the latest SIC Black Carbon composite that improves the feel in your hands and helps to reduce stinging when the softball is hit. The barrel is built using the same proven IMX Composite that has been used in Easton softball bat barrels for years, offering you a HUGE sweet spot and unmatched performance.

USSSA - The 5.0 is approved for play in 1.20 USSSA, ISA, ISF, ISA, and NSA.

End Load - An end loaded slowpitch bat helps you have more power in your swing when the ball is struck. If you are powerful enough to swing an L series end loaded bat, you should stand to see an advantage over a balanced bat.

One-Piece - Why mess with success? If you prefer a traditional feel when hitting, the one-piece design gives you the advantage of instant feedback. Many softball players that swing one-piece composite slowpitch bats do not like the feel of whip you get with a two-piece bat (like a golf club).

12 Month Warranty - The One Year Warranty is back. 2014 Easton Slowpitch Bats will have a warranty against defects for 365 days from the date of purchase.

  • Pros: Feels great in my hands. Not super hot out of the wrapper but by the second game can feel it is starting to get some real pop.
  • Cons: The grip is really to thin. You really feel miss hits. Wear gloves with this grip as it is abrasive.

  • Pros: Feels great with the 1oz endload. Has a good amount of pop out of the wrapper. Without a pitcher and within a couple hits, ball was going 290+ ft without any effort.
  • Cons: Grip is a little rough compared to others.

  • Pros: Hot hot hot!!! Hit the fence with the 2nd swing with it
  • Cons: The only complaint I had was the grip, very thin and kinda stung. But I always rewrap with lizardskins anyways so once I rewraped I love it.

  • Pros: Hits great. The sweet spot is small at first but if you hit it the ball flies. The sweet spot grows as you break it in.

  • Pros: I bought this used from a local sports store in town. So this bat was hot when I got it. But it hits very very well. It is a very simulator feel to the Salvo models by easton. The price you can't beat. I bought mine used for more then this. Great deal
  • Cons: The grip tape. East fix get some lizard tape.

  • I seen a Easton L5.0 today and it was orange and black and the serial number on it was sp16fglu all the specs were the same on both bats but it was cheaper than the one shown here. Is there something different about the bats or are the colours just different
  • Asked by Leroy
  • Leroy, We are unaware of any Easton bat with the model number SP16FGLU. We cannot tell you what the difference is as it is not a normal Easton retail bat. It may be a private label bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How does this compare to the L2.0 Wegman model?
  • Asked by Jake
  • The Easton L5.0 and the Easton L2.0 differ in the handle. Both bats use the same barrel but the L5.0 uses the IMX composite in the handle while the L2.0 uses the SIC Composite.
