2014 Easton LX.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA End Loaded SP14LX

The best value in softball is the Easton LX.0 ASA/USSSA bat. The X.0 has the same composite in the barrel as the more expensive Easton Slowpitch Bats, but the handle uses the IMX Composite instead of the newer SIC Black Carbon Composite, which works to eliminate vibration in the hands The barrel is built using the same proven IMX Composite that has been used in Easton softball bat barrels for several years, giving you a MASSIVE sweet spot and unrivaled performance.

ASA and USSSA Legal - The LX.0 is approved for play in ASA and USSSA softball. This is the fist high-end Easton slowpitch bat approved for both of the most popular softball associations.

End Load - An end loaded softball bat helps you have more power in your swing when the ball is struck. If you are powerful enough to swing an L series end loaded bat, you should stand to see an advantage over a balanced bat.

One-Piece - Keep is simple. For the guys (and gals) that like a traditional feel when swinging, the single system design gives you the advantage of instant feedback. Many players who swing one-piece bats do not like the feel of whip you get with a two-piece bat (like a golf club).

12 Month Warranty - The One Year Warranty is back. 2014 Easton Slowpitch Bats will be have a warranty against defects for 365 days from the date of purchase.

2014 Easton LX Softball Bat Features:
  • Single System Composite Design increases bat control
  • IMX Composite barrel optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance
  • 12" Barrel Length
  • End Loaded - 34/26(1oz), 34/27(2oz), 34/28(3oz)
  • ASA and USSSA 1.20 Approved, ISA, ISF, NSA 2012

  • Pros: Price. Dual stamp. Hits harder compression balls with the best of them. Fairly hot out of the wrapper.
  • Cons: With ASA mush balls you have to hit the sweet spot perfect, which is small, but when you do, rockets.

  • Pros: Great price for a dual stamp bat. I play both ASA and USSSA during the week so my wife was happy that I only needed to buy one bat instead of two (haha). Hits USSSA balls good, and gets a little picky with ASA balls, but if you make contact right the ball takes off. I cannot wait until this breaks in all the way.
  • Cons: Not a huge fan of the grip, or the rubber piece on the end cap that peeled off but I called in and the customer service rep explained that its just for cosmetic looks and doesn't affect the bats performance so that OK.

  • Pros: Is this bat as good as an L1 or L2 Easton? Not quite, but pretty close! Save yourself $100 and get this bat and don't look back. It performs like crazy. Feels almost like a mid load and not an end load to me.
  • Cons: Bat is loud, but some people like that

  • Pros: Put 450 swings on the blue beast last week and I think this is the best ASA softball bat out. I had half my team converted to the LX.0 by the end of the tournament. Seriously, I can't say enough good stuff about this bat. It is so hot, and it is legal in ASA and USSSA. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

  • Pros: I hadn't played softball in about 8 years and needed a bat found this one and after a week playing 3 night the bat has a bunch of swings on it and has preformed outstanding. guys who don't hit with power loved the endload the bat has they hit frozen ropes all night and us power guys loved it plenty strong enough to hit it 350 feet and also versatile enough for the low line drives when we were out of homeruns

  • Pros: Good price. Dual stamp. I don't play a lot of USSSA, but I wanted something I could swing in those tournaments that isn't just a "one trick pony". Put a couple hundred swings on it out of the wrapper and was already crushing the ball consistently. I've owned a Synergy for years now, and this bat has jumped right up there almost immediately. Looking forward to seeing what this bat can do with a couple thousand swings on it.

  • Pros: Price, Bat Control, great bat when team is out of homers and IE's are immanent. Cuts the ball beautifully. One of the few endloaded singles sticks.
  • Cons: Worst bat Easton makes pop wise, maybe ever. I can see two birds one stone, but I got an l4 and an l2 for 180 out the door and both stomp this bat and I paid 120 for it when it came out. 60 dollars more didnt break me and I can murder at least 50 feet farther on both models with an identical break in period. Bat is not hot but real solid if you know what your doing. Put the money you would use on this bat into a proper Easton.

  • Pros: Bat is dual stamped which is perfect if you play usssa and asa like I do. Started to open up around 50 or so swings. Feels like it hits both utrip and asa balls well. Can't wait for this bat to really open up. First bat I bought from Cheapbats and they were great.
  • Cons: The grip is weird and crazy thin, so I had to replace it. The paint has started to chip and come off from ball contact. Which doesn't bother me much but others might not like that.

  • Pros: Love this bat. To me it feels like the old synergy. Right out of the wrapper it was hitting 320+. I can't wait till this bat has over 500 hits on it so it really opens up. If you like the one piece feel you'll love this bat.
  • Cons: I wish I would have bought 2 when they were $100.

  • Pros: So far the bat feels good. I've only swung it a hand full of times so far. I usually hit the ball pretty hard and not much pop so far but it has about 50 swings so i'm sure it will open. Shipped right away and I had it in a couple of days. The people at cheapbats.com were very helpful. Just ordered another bat and will review upon arrival.
  • Cons: Only con so far is the same as pretty much everyone else. The new gauze grip is too thin for my taste. Lizard Skin took care of that.

  • How does this bat compare to the salvo series?
  • Asked by dom
  • The 2014 Easton LX.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA End Loaded SP14LX is just the older model of the new 2015 Easton Salvo Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA End Loaded SP15SVAU. They are both made as 1-piece, 100% IMX Composite, End Loaded bats with 12" barrel lengths.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • My league requires a bat that is under 100 MPH. Does this bat have a MPH stamp on it and if so is it under 100 MPH?
  • Asked by Nick
  • There is no specific "MPH stamp" in existence, however, softball bats for sale will have one or more of the following stamps: ASA, USSSA 1.20 BPF, NSA, ISA, and ISF. These stamps can be seen in the pictures above.
  • Answered by Mike P. - Bat Expert
  • I am handycapped in having only 4 fingers to grip and swing a bath with. I love playing softball but I need a bat that can help me with some distance when I hit with what I have. Which bat would you recommend I use. Most guys who are not handycapped can have power with any bat. I need one loaded for a person who can connect with the ball when I swing but have lesser grip than others. Thank you for any suggestions and help. Will
  • Asked by Will Ritchie
  • The first thing you need to find out is which association do you play? Do you need an ASA, USSSA, NSA bat? Are you allowed to swing any style or only Single Wall? We would recommend an end loaded bat or a maxloaded bat if you are looking for something a little more top heavy to allow more whip and distance. Easton manufacturers several end loaded bats. For ASA they have the 6.0 and for USSSA they have the 5.0. Miken makes the 750X which is maxloaded and worth has their Jeff Hall. Louisville Slugger offers the Z2000 and Z3000 in an end load.
