  • Pros: This awesome piece of engineering that utilizes the same aluminum from my skateboard trucks in 1977 that I grinded down off the pool coping from long grinds after emptying out my neighbors pool can smoke any make of softballs in the heat of the day in Arizona to the coldest night tourneys in South Dakota. Made for the player who still likes to play in cutoff jean shorts and white tank tops the S500 will satisfy all men and women. Get em before they change the killer paintjob.
  • Cons: could have more endload to it.

  • Pros: Bat has a good, balanced feel to it. Grip area isn't too thick but doesn't taper off to extremely either. It's a really durable bat too, good one to use in extreme weather situations or as a team bat for teams that go station to station and don't rely on a ton of power. Great durability for the price, nice mid-range bat that can transition into a practice bat if you decide to upgrade.
  • Cons: A little light in the pop department, but that's kind of to be expected.

  • Pros: It was a very light swing. I liked the balance throughout the bat. Really quick swing with it and not bad at all for the price.
  • Cons: Probably will not last very long. Good for the price, but you can definitely tell the difference with that of a more expensive bat.

  • Is the 750 alloy construction the main difference between this bat and the easton S300 bat?
  • Asked by Juan Carmona
  • The 2014 Easton S500 Slowpitch Softball Bat SP14S500 has the 7050 Aircraft Alloy and the 2014 Easton S300 Slowpitch Softball Bat SP14S300 has the Durable Alloy. The 7050 Aircraft is just a notch above the Durable aluminum, but it's not too significant. They're both hot right out of the wrapper and are great for coed leagues and church leagues.
