2014 Easton S500C Youth Baseball Bat -12oz YB14S500C

Introducing the new Youth S500C Easton bat for 2014. The 500C Easton youth bat for baseball is a two piece bat with a composite handle and aluminum alloy barrel. The handle uses Easton exclusive composite carbon fiber to make the bat strong, light, and powerful. The 7050 space age aircraft aluminum alloy allows the barrel walls to be thin, while keeping the weight down and the durability up. The youth S500C is a great choice for the baseball player who needs a composite handle bat without a hefty price tag. The S500C Baseball Bat replaces the Easton Convert Baseball Bat from previous years.

Easton Youth S500C Bat Features:

  • 7050 Aircraft Alloy Barrel for fast swing speed
  • Composite Handle
  • Two-Piece ConneXion Technology
  • Ultra-Thin 29/32" Tapered Handle
  • Pro Tack Grip
  • Easton Model: A112771
  • USSSA 1.15 BPF
  • One Year Manufacturer's Warranty
  • Approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and comes with the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp

  • Pros: Its an awesome bat. My son used the s2 prior this past summer season. So before I bought this for him, I did some research and compared the two of them. The differences were the type of alloy, and the price. I was a little sketchy about buying the s500c but I did anyway. Honestly, this is an awesome bat. Its actually a steal. It has great pop, and my son said he likes the balance. Hes 8yrs old and swings a 29in 17oz. At this age they grow quickly and go through bats pretty quick too. So the price is awesome, performance is awesome, it looks cool too.

  • Pros:
  • Cons: This bat has no “pop”. The ball comes off the barrel dead. Weighed the bat and it came in at 18ozs. (I bought a 29/17 bat). I called Easton customer service thinking there is a defect with this particular bat, but they said it was “within spec.”, then it was the decals, and finally they said the bat is weighed prior to putting the grip tape on. Either way I’m stuck with a dead bat! Looks like my son and I are going back to Louisville!

  • Pros: Have one on the team already. Needed a second one so more kids could use it. Now we have a 28" and 29" :) Love this bat, less vibration, great pop!
  • Cons: Our other one has lasted a long time, hopefully this one does too. No cons yet. :)

  • What's the difference between the s500 and s500c
  • Asked by Rhyan
  • The 2014 Easton S500C Youth Baseball Bat -12oz YB14S500C is a drop 12 with an aluminum barrel and a composite handle. The 2014 Easton S500 Youth Baseball Bat -13oz YB14S500 is a drop 13 with an all-aluminum build.

  • is the 2014 easton s500c the same thing of the power brigrade bats
  • Asked by ray
  • Thank you for your question. The Easton S500C is not the same as the Easton Power Brigade bats. The S500C uses a 7050 alloy for the barrel and their ConneXion technology for the handle. The Power Brigade such as the S2 uses THT100 Alloy for the barrel but the same ConneXion technology for the handle. The S2 Power Brigade uses a higher end alloy for the barrel.
