2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SBZ214-UB

The freshly upgraded Balanced USSSA version of the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 softball bat is stronger and more durable than before. The Balanced Z2000 is easy to swing because of its smooth, evenly balanced weight distribution, and lets you producer a faster swing speed through the hitting zone than end loaded softball bats. The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 comes in both an ASA, version and a USSSA version. Louisville Slugger softball bats have recently become some our best selling slow pitch softball bats. The 2014 Z2000 is very similar to the 2013 version, but upgraded for increased durability. The Z2000 softball bat has tons of pop, plus we can hardly keep these on the shelves.

The Pure 360 composite is Louisville Slugger's best composite material for softball bats. The Pure 360 is stronger and lighter than previous years due to tightened production tolerances.

2014 Z2000 Softball Bat Features:

  • Pure 360 composite barrel and handle

  • iST technology

  • Balanced weight distribution for easy swinging

  • Synthetic grip, 7/8" standard handle

  • 12" pro style barrel offers a massive sweet spot

  • Thumbprint USSSA 1.20 BPF Stamp, NSA, ISA approved (Not approved for play in ASA)

  • One Year Manufacturer's Warranty from Louisville Slugger Z2000 + No Hassle Returns

  • Pros: The 2013 model ia great but, the 2014 model is much better, more durable and stronger. After having my 2013 and broke it in half playing ball, i bought the 2014 and it seems and feels a lot better and hitting the ball much farther. I love it. By yourself one and you toll know what i mean.
  • Cons: nothing wrong with it like it was with the 2013 model. Like i said in my pros, more durable

  • Pros: I'm about 300 swings into the bat and it has openned up nicely. I'm a line drive hitter with decent pop and this bat has me hitting screamers all day long. Only 5'7" 160 lbs and am putting mush balls over the fence on accident! Graphics/colors/end cap all look great.
  • Cons: Paint seems to scratch pretty easy, after a few weeks looks like I have a couple seasons on it. I like the grip, but guys that perfer the narrow handle feel will want to remove and tape it.

  • Pros: This bat is stupid silly! I thought with the new ASA standards that the USSSA bats felt worthless. Not this one! Ridiculous out of the wrapper. I only have about 50-75 swings on the bat and the balls only fly farther with each swing. Love It!!!!
  • Cons: I have still heard these bats don't last long, but I am hoping I am proven wrong.

  • Pros: Hits very well out of the wrapper. After about 100 swings the feel changed. Not quite a home run bat(I'm not a home run hitter). But my line drives come off the bat fast and very hard. Good base hitters bat.
  • Cons: None so far. Had an OG which broke after 20 swings. I live near chicago so I get limited time playing. Got it last summer/fall. Was opening up towards end of season.

  • Pros: The 2014 Z2000 is jacking the ball all over the softball diamond. No break in period. Comes out of the packaging red hot. Its easy to grip and feels natural in your hand. Best bat I have ever ordered. I made a mistake on my initial order and ordered a 26 ounce bat. I emailed Cheap Bats and requested a 28 ounce bat. Cheap Bats immediately revised my order and notified me via e-mail the correction was made. This is how you do business!! I'll be back to Cheap Bats!

  • Pros: I love Louisville Slugger Z series bats. I have never purchased a softball bat in my 10 years of playing softball but I'm on a new team where the bats were limited i think they have a few older miken bats i hate em, this bat feels so good when you make contact I am hitting the ball sooooo much harder, I'm a line drive guy so I prefer the balanced but if you got any power at all you should no problem smacking homers. The second at bat on this bat my teammate accidently hit a homerun. Its hot outta the wrapper but I'm excited to see how it opens up. And my team loves it!!
  • Cons: none so far but i've only had if for a couple weeks

  • Is this bat a brand new bat in the wrapper?
  • Asked by Terry
  • Yes, the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SBZ214-UB is brand new and still in its original wrapper.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Which is the hotter bat & better producer? USSSA or ASA balanced version? And what would be the better choice for a Clincher ball league? HELP!
  • Asked by Chris
  • USSSA and ASA performance standards are very similar nowadays, but the USSSA bats are a bit hotter. ASA bats tend to have inner-barrel discs that slightly limit them compared to the USSSA standard. Clincher leagues usually use 12" or even 16" specialty balls that get softer as the game progresses, and with softer balls you need a harder hitting surface, such as an aluminum barrel. The Z2000 bats all have composite barrels, so they may not be the answer for your clincher league. If you like Louisville Slugger maybe check out the 2015 Louisville Slugger VAPOR Slowpitch Softball Bat SBVA15U.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Can I get this bat in 34/26? If so I would like to order one
  • Asked by Brian
  • Unfortunately we have sold out of the 26 ounce and will not be receiving anymore in stock. We do still have 27 and 28 ounces available in the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SBZ214-UB model.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I was wondering if you would do a package deal for a 2014 demarini CL22 usssa and 2014 z2000 balance usssa for $320
  • Asked by Rob
  • These bats are at blowout closeout prices and the listed price will be the best we can offer, especially as the Demarini's just went on sale $130 off and is cheaper than any other certified dealer at this time.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I noticed your site says this USSSA version is ISF approved. I haven't been able to find evidence of this on the ISF site. Can you verify this for me somehow?
  • Asked by chadwick
  • This bat is not approved for ISF.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I hear a lot of talk on forums about reissues of this particular bat. Most of these discussions took place early in the year, but I was curious as to how I would know whether the bat I was buying was a re-issue or the original version??? Thanks!
  • Asked by Gordon
  • Thank you for your question. The 2014 Z2000 is a brand new bat updated from the 2013 model. The 2013 model was having quality control issues with breaking and the 2014 model has acknowledge that problem and fixed it. When a bat is called a re-issue by the manufacturer that is when a bat has been discontinued and they decide to remake it due to costumer demand such as the Worth Booger which will be out at the start of 2014.
  • Answered by Kevin Bat expert
  • When will the 26oz version become available?
  • Asked by Edward tan
  • We are at the mercy of Louisville Slugger when it comes to availability. They are overwhelmed with demand for the new Z2000 and Z3000 softball bats, so even Louisville does not exactly know when they will have 26 ounce Z2000 USSSA softball bats to ship to us. We receive shipments from them every couple of weeks, but we usually do not know what is coming until they actually ship the bats.
  • Answered by Mike
  • I couldn't tell from the specs on the 2014 Z2000 softball bat...is it single or double walled?
  • Asked by Ryan
  • Technically, because of the composite barrel, it is a "Multi-Wall" softball bat. For what it is worth, Louisville Slugger is not calling the 2014 Z000 a double wall softball bat.
