CLOSEOUT Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat 011039

Anderson brings its A-game with the new Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat! This beast is constructed with a Single Piece Design, crafted with AB-9000 Aerospace Alloy. This is the exact kind of aluminum material that’s used to launch planes 30,000 feet in the air, so take our word for it when we say the Flex has the durability of a tank.

The Flex is made as a Balanced bat, as Anderson evenly distributes the weight to give hitters increased bat speed through the hitting zone and ultimate control at the plate. Also, the Flex has serious power and a Massive Sweet Spot, but you don’t have to swing with all your might to utilize it, as the Reduced Moment of Inertia gives you the ability to access all the power with your normal swing.

The Flex for Slow Pitch Softball is also equipped with an Ultra Thin Handle, Padded Spiral Bat Grip and a 1.20 BPF USSSA Thumbprint Stamp, approving this Flex for play in USSSA, ASA, NSA and ISA. See you on the field!

  • Pros: I play in a single wall league and this is probably the best bat out there right now. It hits the mush balls that we use good and so far has not dented.

  • Pros: I play in a single wall, aluminum barrel league with no composite allowed and this is hands down the best bat I've used. After using an Ultimate Weapon for roughly 3 seasons, I needed a bat with a little more pop behind it. I'm overly particular too, I like a balanced (no end load) and single piece bat. This bat crushed it right out of the wrapper. IT felt great through the zone and provided amazing power. Nothing wrong with the Demarini UW but you could feel the difference in quality here. Every hit felt solid. I can't wait to see how it continues to perform as it breaks in a little more.
  • Cons: Not much, if I had to be nitpicky, the white on the barrel get's dirty easily. But it's softball so all good there. Performance wise, I have no complaints

  • Pros: Great Bat! Arguably the best single wall aluminum alloy bat out there. has a great feel in the hands, a nice long barrel at 13.5" vs standard 12-12.5" The balanced feel is very nice and you can whip it through the zone nicely. Great pop and power on the ball. Compares to the Easton L9.0 but feels better IMHO. Color scheme is great and doesn't have all that flashy graphiti that some other companies use. Needs some minor breaking in but overall a great bat. My entire team is trying to use it, and I'm babying it!
  • Cons: None, go buy this bat.

  • Pros: Great feel, even miss hits end up as base hits. Ball flies off the barrel. Lots of pop for a single wall.
  • Cons: Swings much lighter than the advertised weight which take a little getting used to

  • Pros: Huge sweet spot and a incredibly balanced feel. It is so balanced that you will probably want to size up a weight. Swinging the 30 oz and it is perfect (Usually do a 28 ounce).
  • Cons: This bat is great if you already have a solid swing. It will not transform a light swinger into a power hitter or add tons of length to hits but it will add to those with a strong swing already! Bat designed for strong to advanced players.

  • Pros: Bat swings really light for being a 28 oz. Once it breaks in it carries a lot of pop. I read that it is a great singles bat but let me say, some of my guys aren't the biggest guys and they can crush the ball really well with this bat. If you have a fast enough swing you can spray the ball wherever you want and with plenty of power from the barrel.
  • Cons: Takes a little bit to break in (took it to the cages for a long night and still took about half a season). But if you prepare accordingly, it's great once it is broken in.

  • Pros: In a league where most bats are banned, it was good to find a bat that meets our rules and still has some pop right after taking the wrapper off. Interested to see how it improves after a little use.

  • Pros: Bat has a great feel. Handle has a nice grip making the swing and follow through effortless. I don't agree with the "hot out the wrapper" reviews I've read before I bought it. It's taken several swings to get a feel for the bat but I've gotten solid base hits during the break-in phase.
  • Cons: After only one game it's gotten multiple scratches and marks on it however with a light colored bat that was expected. If you're not a long ball hitter this bat is not going to make you one. If I were to purchase this bat again I'd get a size heavier, it's lighter than I expected.

  • Pros: Purchased for co-ed singlewall non-composite league. Team loves the bat. Exit speed off the bat seems hotter than the other bats we have in rotation. Seems to have a bigger sweet spot than the other bats in rotation as well. At this price point it's definitely worth having in the bag.

  • Pros: Great balanced single wall non composite bat. I have the a Pyrotech and an Ignite which are previous versions of Anderson's single wall balanced bat and I am not disappointed. Does not have the pop of a Demarini Steel but has a great feel and is more forgiving. If you want a balanced bat that's durable for single wall non composite leagues this is the one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pros: This is a great bat. It is a definite upgrade from my last bat. Very well balanced bat and feels great in the hands. The grip that comes on the bat is very comfortable where I dont even neet to use batting gloves. Also great price. Ball flys off the bat and has great pop for a balanced aluminium bat.
  • Cons: The white of the bat shown in the photo is actually a light grey when seen in person. I actually prefer the light grey, so it was not really a con.

  • Review by: Steve
  • Pros: A steal at the close out price. I usually go with a 28 oz but went with 30 oz as I knew the Flex bats feel on the light side. 30 oz is perfect, bat still feels as light or lighter than my 28 oz Steels. Bat is very balanced for a smooth swing. While this bat probably won't give you the same distance as a Steel, it still has plenty of pop and the ball screams off the barrel. With this bat you'll be hitting a lot more laser line drives than long fly balls, which usually end up as outs anyway once the other players know where to play you.
  • Cons: If you're always trying to hit it over everyone's head, you're probably better off with a Steel. Otherwise not much to dislike with this bat.

  • I ordered the Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat. The color of the bat I just received is grey but in an answer to a prior question you describe it as blue and it also appears to be blue on your website. My league limits bats to one piece, single-wall, aluminum. Did I receive the correct bat?
  • Asked by Mike L
  • We are not sure what you mean between grey vs blue, but the Anderson Flex will be blue and white/grey. The Anderson Flex 2015 model is a single piece alloy single wall ASA bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Are these new in wrapper bats.
  • Asked by jay orris
  • This bat is brand new in the wrapper.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is the color of the bat purple/violet or blue? I can't tell. Thanks!
  • Asked by Dillon Davis
  • The Anderson Flex is blue.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Hi, what is the core/compression for the clincher f12 ..thanks
  • Asked by Warlin
  • Unfortunately we do not carry the F12 ball, but from years past they use to have a compression of under 300 pounds. They are an extremely soft ball.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Need a replacement for my demarini gold steel, does this compare?
  • Asked by Luis
  • We have never carried the gold steel and cannot make a comparison on that bat. In regards to this bat, it is a one piece alloy single wall bat. Slightly different from the Raw Steel as it is only a one piece not a two piece. Performance wise they will be similar.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Will this be a good bat to hit 12" clincher balls with?
  • Asked by Timmy
  • Clincher softballs are a softer ball than most 12" balls. The 2015 Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat is a single wall alloy barreled bat that would allow for a better performance than many composite bats with the Clincher ball.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How does this bat compare in performance to the similar Easton single wall bats like the L9 and Salvo scandium models?
  • Asked by Chris
  • The 2015 Anderson Flex will have similar performance to the Easton L9.0, or the Easton Salvo Scandium as all three bats are high end single wall alloy bats.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I know it says Aerospace Alloy. Thats not a composite material is it? My league only allows single wall aluminum bats
  • Asked by bryan
  • No, Alloy is an aluminum material. No composite material exists in this bat model.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Is this bat a singlewall bat? Thanks.
  • Asked by Chipshot
  • The 2015 Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat is in fact a single wall alloy bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
