  • Pros: It is a good looking bat for sure. It has a very light feel to it. The barrel is larger in real life than it looks like in the picutres.

  • Pros: Nice looking bat, great balance, big barrel, with enough weight at the end of the barrel asking to be hit hard. Sin loves the bat and it has lots of POP!!! And Chrapbats.com had bat delivered from the West coast to East coast in 5 days as promised. Great Job!!!
  • Cons: Small blemish on paint job about one inch in length, hardly noticable, unless you have a trained eye. Son hasn't notice it.

  • Pros: Great coach pitch bat, evenly balanced with good pop. More balanced than the Demarini NVS of the same length and lighter too (actual weight). Purchased this bat for the latter half of my son’s season which is tournament heavy so I knew it was going to get abused. Paint has chipped/scratched as expected and 2 small noticeable dents but still performs great. Would have been disappointed had I paid full price, but at half price this bat is a steal. Son plays 8U select coach pitch and is a hard liner/gap hitter. Has dropped several bombs with it too. Would not recommend for kid pitch.

  • Cons: Check with league and tourney rules. This bat is not aloud in certain games. I did not know that before buying it. :(

  • Pros: Bought the 2 5/8" barrel as this one was banned by our league. Bat is hot. We also have the Easton S400 the S3 is way hotter. Wished it came in a -11 like the S400.
  • Cons: Only comes in a -10 model.

  • 6 year old 48in tall 63lbs. Using a 25in 15oz bat with a 2 1/4" barrel diameter right now. He makes good contact but doesn't get enough pop. Will the S3 be a suitable option in the big barrel category? I'm also thinking he's using to short of a bat for his size based on the bat size chart. Please help.
  • Asked by Abner M.
  • For a 63lb, 48in tall kid I would recommend using a 28" bat. The 2015 Easton S3 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat -10oz JBB15S3B is not available in a 28" length, but there are plenty of bats out there that are. If a 2 3/4" barrel diameter is what you're looking for then I would check out some of these bats in a 28"/18oz size... • What is the difference between the jbb15s3b and the jbb15s3? We use regular diamond baseballs in our league and was looking for advice on either of those bats or the Easton mako? Or any other brand that's hot outta the wrapper..
  • Asked by Buck
  • The only difference between these two S3's are the barrel diameters. The 2015 Easton S3 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat -10oz JBB15S3 has a 2 5/8" barrel diameter, while the 2015 Easton S3 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat -10oz JBB15S3B has a 2 3/4" barrel diameter. Both of these S3's are made as 100% aluminum alloy bats, so they are definitely hot right out of the wrapper. Easton Mako bats are made 100% composite and will not be as hot out of the wrapper as aluminum alloy bats (like these S3's). However, in the long run, composite is a better material to go with as it's more durable and better performing once the break-in period has passed.

  • Will this bat be offered in a 28' / 18 oz size ??
  • Asked by Caywood
  • This bat will not be offered in 28/18. The Junior Big barrels are manufactured for use of low compression balls also known as flex balls for coach pitch. Thus Easton will not be offering this bat bigger than 27 inches. Any size bigger you will have to purchase the SL15S310B which is intended for regular baseballs.
