  • Pros: I purchased the 31/28 for my child for his fall ball season and high school try outs. It has performed well for him. He has been hitting many gappers and says the bat does not vibrate. He likes the grip and the graphics on the bat.

It has incredible pop and for a great price at cheapbats.com. This can be used by any player at any level under BBCOR regulations.

  • Thank you for answering that last question. So would this bat be considered balanced? Thank you.
  • Asked by Aaron Elliott
  • In relation to Easton's end loaded bats this would be a balanced bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • If I understand correctly, the Mako BBCOR actually comes in 4 different models - the balanced Mako, the end-loaded Mako XL, the balanced Mako Torq, and the end-loaded Mako Torq XL? Which bat is this? Thank you.
  • Asked by Aaron Elliott
  • The 2015 Easton Mako BBCOR model bat just came in one 2 styles, the regular Mako and the Mako Torq. The 2016 Mako's do come in the 4 different styles. The BB15MK is just the standard Mako.

  • How long will the closeout deal last?
  • Asked by Nick
  • The 2015 Easton Mako BBCOR will remain on sale until sold out.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Will the 2015 BBCOR XL1 or the or the 2015 BBCOR Mako feature more "pop"
  • Asked by TKunks
  • The difference between the XL1 and the Mako is that the XL1 is a top heavy or "end loaded" bat requiring a stronger top hand when hitting. The Mako will have a more balanced swing weight. One bat will not have more "pop" over the other, as it is for two different types of hitters.

  • When will you get a new shipment of 31/28
  • Asked by JJ Jessee
  • We will not be receiving anymore 31"/28oz. 2015 Easton Mako BBCOR Baseball Bats.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How long will this bat be on the price discount?
  • Asked by Sleet
  • We are not sure what the future holds for prices on bats. I will say that the Mako BBCOR is a great bat and it's around $160 off the original retail price, so if you want this bat I would jump on it sooner rather than later.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • If I buy a 32 inch 29oz mako is it still going to be a -3 bat or no?
  • Asked by Jk Jk
  • The -3 signifies the difference between the length and the weight of the bat. A 32" by 29oz. does have a differential of 3 and is considered a BBCOR -3 bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • What are the differences between the 2014 and 2015 Mako BBCOR?
  • Asked by LBC
  • The 2015 and 2014 Mako are essentially the same bat. There should be no difference between the two, however, in our testing we have noticed less vibration in the 2015 Mako bats across the line.
