2015 Louisville Slugger LXT Fastpitch Softball Bat -8oz FPLX158

The 2015 Louisville Slugger LXT fastpitch softball bat comes out of the gates hot and ready to trample the competition. If you are an elite player, or a player looking to take that next step towards performing at an elite level, the 2015 LXT should be on the top of your list.

Louisville Slugger uses their Pure 360 composite material to make an extremely durable and explosive bat that is evenly balanced, providing each player with unprecedented control and confidence at the plate! Utilizing their TRU3 technology, the LXT is one of a select few three-piece fastpitch softball bats available. This unique design strengthens the connection between the handle and barrel of the softball bat, and helps to redirect power back to the sweet spot all the while decreasing undesirable vibration. The S1iD technology also creates a large, forgiving sweet spot by inserting an aluminum inner disc inside the barrel that will improve performance and give you a confident feel and sound. This LXT has a -8 length to weight ratio and is approved by the 1.20 BPF USSSA and ASA standards. The LXT is ready for Fastpitch Softball league play!

  • Pros: I love that I can swing the drop 8 because no one else on my team is strong enough to so I don't have to worry about anyone using my bat! hahahaha I love how hard the ball comes off my bat and the slight flex it has.

  • My daughter has a 2014 LXT bat and I was told that they cannot use a composite bat in cold weather. Is this true, if so, at what temperature do you not recommend using it? Thanks, Andy
  • Asked by Andy
  • Louisville Slugger along with most manufacturer's do not recommend using your composite bat in weather colder than 60 degrees.
