2015 Louisville Slugger XENO Fastpitch Softball Bat -11oz FPXN151

The elite, incredibly popular Xeno is back for 2015 action! This bat is constructed with 100% Pure 360 Composite material, where Louisville Slugger incorporates strong graphite fibers inside the barrel to reduce thickness and increase strength. Also in the barrel is inner discs, called the S1iD Technology, which increases barrel flex and create a more forgiving sweet spot for hitters to take advantage of. The Xeno is also a 2-piece bat, connected using the iST Technology, the innovative method that joins the barrel and handle for a great overall feel and limited sting to the hands upon contact with the softball.

This particular Xeno has a -11 length to weight ratio and has a balanced swing weight. This balanced weight distribution allows for increased bat speed through the zone while still being smooth and easy to control. Stamped with 1.20 BPF USSSA, ASA and NSA approval for fastpitch softball leagues.

  • Pros: Looks
  • Cons: My daughter plays A level 10u and recently had her CF5/-11 explode on her. She is a power hitter for a smaller girl but really gets through the ball. I bought her the new Xeno to try something different. She also has the new CF7 31/20 that is a bit too big for her that I got on a golf driver swap. right out of the wrapper i could tell the xeno did not have the same trampoline effect of the CF family. You have to swing out of your shoes to get the xeno to go like the cf7.

  • Pros: Louisville slugger hit a home run with this bat. Finally came out with a -11 xeno. This bat is not for just younger players, my daughter plays 18 A travel ball and will be a senior this year in high school. She's does not quite have the upper body strength as most girls her age, the 33/22 gives her the length she needs but the lighter swing weight allows her to catch up to fast pitches. If you need a little more swing speed, then this is the bat for you. Bat has great pop, balls fly off this bat. This bat is the real deal, try it, your daughter will love it.
  • Cons: This bat isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

  • Pros: Let me start by saying that this was my priciest online purchse and I couldn't be happier. This is an amazing bat, at a great price. My almost 12 yr old who is tall took it out of the box and loved the swing of it. Light weigh but long enough for her. Next day at the pitching machines was even better, she hit about 7/8 balls per 10, and they just flew off the bat, her best hitting EVER. I never really paid attention to the sound because I don't know much about bats so we always bought "the cheapest" bat, but she loved the sound and the performance of it immediately. Not only was the bat AMAZING, but the customer service is the best I've ever dealt with anybody. Skyler was very knowledgeable, and friendly and answered my all my questions and concerns. Also, the shipping was surprisingly fast. I ordered it on a Mon, and it arrived Wed evening. :) will DEFINATELY be back when my daughter needs another bat. She also wanted me to mention that she loved the color, purple is her fave, and she says they don't have enough purple softball stuff LOL. TY so much cheapbats, we are thrilled with our bat purchase.

  • Pros: Daughter received this bat a week ago, and had her first game last night. Went 2 for 2 and both were homeruns. Bat feels and sounds great. Very happy with my decision
  • Cons: Feels a little heavier than expected.

  • Im almost ready to buy this bat but just not sure if I should buy the -10 drop or -11drop. How much more pop does -10 have? Also how much better is the $349 Easton mako better than this bat? THANKS
  • Asked by COrey
  • The heavier the bat used the more distance a batter can get. A hitter must be able to handle the weight of the bat or it is not beneficial. The -10 would allow for more force than a -11 but the batter must be able to swing the -10 effectively. The Easton Mako is a similar bat, a two piece composite, just a different brand.

  • I am looking at the 2015 Xeno for my daughter and I am hearing on multiple websites and forums that the Xeno drop 11 is weighing anywhere from 1-1.5 oz over the listed weight especially on the 30 and 31" bats which would be a big deal for my 10 year old. Have you happened to weigh any of your Xeno drop 11 to see if this is truly the case? Don't want to spend the money and not have it be a true drop 11 which is what she needs from a weight perspective.
  • Asked by Tim
  • The honest truth is that almost every bat by every manufacturer weighs one to two ounces over what is listed. The manufacturer weighs each bat prior to knobs, grip and end cap thus each bat will weigh more than what they are listed.

  • I am looking at the 2015 Xeno drop 11 and the 2015 CF7 drop 11 for my 10 year old daughter and I am having a really hard time deciding between the two. It seems like every review I read there are just as many prople standing by the performance of one versus the other and vice versa. In your opinion based on those two bats is there one that you would give the edge too as it relates to overall performance, durability, barrel sweet spot, vibration dampening, popularity, break in, pop, etc? Thanks for your time.
  • Asked by Tim
  • Based on what we have seen in sales the DeMarini CF7 has a better durability rating than the Xeno. The Xeno from what we've seen and heard is hotter right out of the wrapper. Pop wise, sweet spot, and vibration they are very comparable.
