  • Do you think this bat will hold up to a coach pitched ball or will it crack?

  • The 2016 Combat Maxum Tee Ball Bat is made for the flex ball. A regular baseball will put a lot of wear and tear on the bat. There is no way to tell if it will hold up or not, but we can only recommend using the flex balls.

  • What are the primary differences between Combat's tee ball bats (Portent, PG4 & Maxum) besides the available drop weights? The Portent and Maxum both seem to weigh the same at given lengths, e.g., 27/13.

  • There is a slightly different use of composite from the Maxum to the Portent. At the T-ball stage, it won't make too much of a difference. It will ultimately come down to looks, feel, and preference.
