COMBat Composite Bat Technologies:

(HIT) - Handle Isolation Technology

The Handle Isolation Technology uses polymeric visco-elastic danmpeners to isolate the ultra-light handle from the high performance double-wall barrel. The visco-elastic material stiffens under load so the barrel responds quickly to your swing, but then softens to absorb vibration feedback. High frequency vibrations are effectively eliminated before they reach your hands, giving a soft, dampened, feel without compromising performance.

(PMT) - Precision Molding Technology

(PMT) Combat's exclusive Precision Molding Technology uses precision computer-controlled machine-hardened steel tooling to precisely control both outer and inner bat barrel diameters. We maintain tolerances of less that 1/1000 of an inch, which allows Combat's engineers to design barrel wall thickness to maximize barrel trampoline and bat performance.

(BFT) - Blended Fiber Technology

(BFT) Combat's patented Blended Fiver Technology blends several different fiber types in varying proportions at carefully controlled angles. We take advantage of the best qualities of each with the whole becoming much greater than the sum of its parts. Carbon fibers are ultra-light and have phenomenal stiffness. Combat's designers use carbon to optimize the flex and dynamic response of our bats. Glass fibers are very strong, yet flexible. This resilience is used to get more trampoline effect out of our barrel walls without sacrificing durability. Our engineers use its incredible toughness and vibration absorbing properties to enhance the soft feel of our bats.

(ACT) Anisotropic Composite Technology

Combat bats are widely renowned as having the softest feel in the industry as a result of Combat's proprietary Anisotropic Composite Technology (ACT) generated from Combat's industry-leading FEA (Finite Element Analysis) bat design software.

(ACT) Unlike aluminum, composites are anisotropic which means composite bats can be designed to have different stiffnesses and strengths in different directions. Thus, Combat's Anisotropic Composite Technology varies stiffness along the handle (reducing vibrations and sting) and across the barrel (for softer feel and improved bat performance), making composites the material of choice in the industry.

(GT) - (VST)

Combat's variable stiffness technology (VST) and Gear Technology (GT) provide lower stiffness for more trampoline effect on both sides of the normal sweetspot.

(GT) - Gear Technology

Combat's Gear Technology has a special taper geometry consisting of elongated surface grooves, located inside or outside, with a gear-shaped cross-section which provides a softer feel and greater performance on hits toward the barrel taper end.

(VST) Variable Stiffness Technology

(VST) Combat's Variable Stiffness Technology allows Combat engineers to design lower barrel wall stiffness on both sides of the normal sweetspot, resulting in an enlarged sweetspot area by which maximum bat performance or hit distance is achieved.

(SBT) Separation Barrier Technology

Combat's patented Separation Barrier Technology (SBT) allows brand new bats to exhibit maximum performance and feel, right off the rack with no break-in period necessary - Hot Out of the Wrapper.

(SBT) Combat's patented Separation Barrier Technology results in completely free movement between Combat barrel walls as manufactured, requiring no break-in period.

(NTI) - Nanocomp Technology Inside

The strength and durability of Combat's all composite bats are enhanced by Nanocomp Technology Inside (NTI) and Combat's proprietary tough liquid resin/dry fiber composite material system.

(NTI) Combat's Nanocomp Technology Inside reinforces fibers and resin at the nanoscale level throughout Combat's proprietary tough liquid resin, effectively filling all relatively low strength microscopic gaps between fibers which results in a dramatic increase in bat strength and durability.
