2013 Rawlings 5150 BBCOR Baseball Bat BBCA2

 2013 Rawlings 5150 BBCOR Baseball Bat BBCA2

The Rawlings 5150 2 BBCOR is here! Rawlings has taken the ever-popular 5150 BBCOR bat and spruced it up a little for 2013. Rawlings took the bat that has utterly dominated the College World Series the past few years and wanted to see what they could do better. Well, the answer was 'not much'. Rawlings improved the durability by updated the end cap design, adding a little more weight to the end of the bat in the process. Rawlings also reversed the color pattern on the BBCOR 5150 to distinguish it from previous model years. The 2013 Rawlings 5150 has a stiff handle and barrel for a consistent feel at the plate, and comes with a one year warranty against defects.

  • Precision-Optimized Performance pOp Technology in the barrel allows for better balance and swing speed
  • Stiff 5150 alloy in the handle and the barrel
  • 2 5/8" Barrel Diameter
  • BBCOR certified legal for High School and College play
  • 12 month warranty from Rawlings

  • Cons: The same as the original 5150, in my opinion the original 5150 is better than this one.

  • Pros: Pretty decent bat for the price, good for your typical contact hitter. Nothing too fancy.
  • Cons: Not an extreme amount of pop compared to bats like the S1, S2, or S3 but still up there.

  • Pros: Its a very light and very balanced bat with some pop to it. Recommend this to prople looking for a quick bat.
  • Cons: Small sweet spot and ball barely goes anywhere if you dont hit it on the sweet spot. Makes a loud ping sound...just throwing that out there.

  • Pros: This bat has so much pop! You can really get the bat through the zone because it is very balanced. I works for me because I am a contact hitter. I would recommend this bat to anyone!!!
  • Cons: Only the grip. All rawlings bats are like this.. batting gloves and a little pine tar will fix that!
