CLOSEOUT 2014 Easton XL1 Big Barrel Baseball Bat -8oz SL14X18

2014 Easton XL1 Big Barrel Baseball Bat -8oz SL14X18

The Easton XL series Baseball Bats are designed with a bigger barrel to give you a massive sweet spot! The BB14X1 is a two-piece composite bat with both an IMX composite barrel, and a SIC Black Carbon composite handle.

The end loaded, minus 8 ounce length to weight ratio 2014 Easton XL1 is built and produced for the baseball batter who is strong enough to swing a slightly heavier and end loaded baseball bat. When a batter chooses an XL series bat from Easton, he will be rewarded with a longer barrel and sweet spot, compared to the Easton Speed series bats. If you think the XL Series may be too heavy for you, check out the Speed Series equivalent, the S1 big barrel

The two piece design gives the player two advantages: A more optimized energy transfer, and substantial vibration reduction.
The handle is stiff, and made from the exclusive Easton SIC Black Carbon composite, while the barrel is more elastic, and made from their IMX composite fiber material. The 100% composite materials used in the handle and the barrel allow the XL1 Senior League bat to be more balanced than an all things being equal aluminum alloy bat.

All Easton Youth Big Barrel Bats are USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamped and approved. As always, CheapBats.com offers No Hassle Returns to our loyal, and incredible customers!

  • Pros: With more than an inch greater hitting area, bigger sweet spot. Excellent choice for moving to the next step in weight from a -10 to -8. Yellow barrel color makes the bat appear bigger, (adding to it's already physically bigger size), intimidating to a pitcher :). The XL1 has given my son a new confidence in his swing.
  • Cons: Price may be a con to some, but if you want a most recently released quality bat, you will need to invest. You will have to keep an eye on the XL1, teammates will want to use it. Some that are not ready for a drop 8. Otherwise I see no cons. A great 2014 model from Easton!
