  • Review by: Anthony
  • Pros: I purchased a 26oz. and ****** it a 1/2oz. and this thing is "INSANE". The B3.0 has a "HUGE" sweet-spot and has a very lightweight and balanced feel. My SP12ST98 (Black w/ Green Writing Stealth) broke and that to me was the "Holy Grail" of bats, this B3.0 has gone beyond expectations.... GET ONE WITHOUT HESITATION.
  • Cons: The current line of Easton Bats get stress cracks; however these "ARE NOT" cracks in the bat, its merely a chipping of the paint. That's my only CON but it's not that big of a deal.

  • Pros: Almost the entire barrel is a sweet spot! Love the sound, the pop and the power! I love the look on the fielder's face when they realize the ball isn't slowing down and they have to turn to chase it down as I round second. If you love the Stealth from past years you will love this bat too. Teammates are always using it and they also have improved results over their own bats. The swing is so smooth and the two piece construction allows for fewer vibrations. I absolutely love the performance of this bat and it looks good too! I would highly recommend this bat to anyone who swings a balanced bat.
  • Cons: Easton has reduced the amount of time that it allows for the warranty. This product has the new 6 month warranty as their policies have changed. This is not a con of the bat, just a side effect of Easton's new policy.

  • Pros: Balanced feel as promised. hits well out of the wrapper. I am 5'10" @ 160 lbs. and haven't played softball since fall 2012. I was hitting balls about 280 ft. after about 20 wings. I am more of a line drive hitter, but I think will have some power using this bat. I am looking forward to when it is broken in, so I can really see what it can do.
  • Cons: The grip will rip your hands up if you don't use gloves and do some extensive BP. Not really a con if you just wear gloves.

  • Pros: Bat felt good right out of the wrapper. I am not a home run hitter but the ball jumps off the bat even for us contact hitters. I play in a USSSA league and use this bat instead of USSSA bats because the sweet spot is bigger. A couple of our players went from hitting warning track to over the fence with this bat. It's a hit with my team. Seems durable.
  • Cons: After 100-150 swings the only con I have noticed would be the bat looks older than it is because of the black finish.

  • Pros: So far so good. couple BP sessions and it is opening up nicely. Good sweet spot, very forgiving.
  • Cons: Main con is that its no longer sold, and new bats are getting harder to find at reasonable prices. Other is that the bat is designed for the new 52/300 ASA ball, so unsure of reliability using the older 44/375, especially in the north with cooler weather.

  • Pros: This bat is very light and easy to control while giving you the extra pop necessary for the new ASA rated balls. It takes a few reps to get broken-in, but it is a much needed improvement from the Salvo.
  • Cons: Takes longer than the Demarini to get broken-in, BUT it is much more durable so there is a real trade-off here.

  • what is the difference between the raw power b3.0 sp13b3 and the raw power b1.0 sp13b1?
  • Asked by Apolonio Calderon
  • The Easton SP13B3 is an ASA approved bat while the SP13B1 is a USSSA approved bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • What is the difference between the Raw Power B1 (SP14B1) and B3 (SP13B3)?
  • Asked by Mau
  • The Easton SP14B1 is a USSSA/NSA approved bat while the SP13B3 is approved by ASA only.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I am switching from a 2012 Miken Freak SuperMax 28oz and looking at the Easton SP13B3. The Freak seemed almost too heavy, because of the thin grip and balanced weight what size should I look at for the Easton? I was considering a 27oz.
  • Asked by Shawn Forgey
  • The Easton B3.0 is a balanced two piece bat that will feel more true to its weight. If the 28oz. felt too heavy the 27oz. may be a better fit for you.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How good is this bat compared to the miken psycho asa?
  • Asked by joe
  • Both bats are ASA approved but the Mike Psycho SPSYBA is a one piece composite while the B3.0 is a two piece composite. The Mike Psycho does come with a one year manufacturer's warranty while the Easton SP13B3 only comes with a six month warranty.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I am looking for something similar to the Easton L.1.0 bat. Would you recommend this bat in comparison to the Easton L.1.0? I am a contact hitter and that bat was awesome. I was using a 30 inch, but some of my teammates suggested that I drop down to a 28 or 26 for even more power. I can get at 30 around but I was wondering if I get a 28 with a heavier end load if that would make a significant difference. Thank you
  • Asked by Christina
  • The Easton L1.0 is a two-piece softball bat, so it is going to have a similar feel as far as flexibility, however, the L1.0 is USSSA approved, and the B3 is ASA approved, so keep that in mind when choosing.
We sell many more 28 ounce softball bats than we do 30 ounce slow pitch bats. Unless you are an extremely strong individual, a 28 ounce might serve you better, as you can generate more bat speed with the lighter bat. Bat choice is very subjective, I always recommend staying with what you are most comfortable with. If you like a heavy bat, then stick with it.
