Combat B4 Portent Senior Youth Baseball Bat -10oz B4SL110

The Combat B4 Portent Baseball Bat is what happens when athletes and engineers work together. The B4 Portent senior youth minus 10 ounce baseball bat is a bat that's close to perfection. Combat used three weeks on the field with some of the best young (and not-so-young) baseball players we know and the top engineers in the industry. The result is the Senior league B4 Portent. Combining our athlete's touch and vision with our engineer's expertise, the B4 has the lightest swing weights ever created supporting the largest sweet spot available. The taper flex, handle flex and barrel trampoline combine to make the Combat B4 bat line a continuous store-and-release monster. Think beyond the warning track. Think beyond the fence. Think beyond the park.

The Combat B4 Portent may be the best baseball bat ever made. The B4 may be the lightest feeling minus 10 ounce baseball bat in history.

  • Pros: I notice this bat is much better than the B3. It has a lot more pop right out of the wrapper.

  • Pros: This Combat has a huge barrel. Way bigger sweet spot than it looks like in the picture online. Best bat I could have bought for my son. Could not be happier with the bat and the service from Cheapbats.com CheapBats.com Staff: Thank you! Your 100% satisfaction is out goal!

  • Pros: This bat performs really well for my son. I was definitely surprised at the size of the barrel as it almost looks like a caveman's club, but maybe that's why it works. I was a little worried with such a large barrel that my son couldn't swing it, but it really is very well balanced and he's not having any trouble getting around on the ball with it. I'm happy with it so far and so is my son, I would recommend it.

  • My son is an 8th grader playing travel ball and middle school baseball. Do you recommend a -10, -8, or -5? Next, what do you think about the Combats vs. Easton or Demarini? And, within the Combats, what is the difference between the 2013 B4 Portent, 2014 Portent and 2014 Wanted?
  • Asked by Tim
  • Because he will need to use a BBCOR bat next year in high school baseball, I would recommend a minus 5 ounce bat his 8th grade year. Combat, Easton, and DeMarini are three of the top baseball bat makers. Combat uses a seamless carbon fiber, which is supposed to give the bat greater durability and better consistency. Easton has been dominating the baseball bat market for the past few years with their Power Brigade line, and the new Mako bats are selling like crazy. DeMarini also makes a great bat, but more people are choosing Easton this year, based on our internal numbers. 2013 vs 2014: The Combat bats are going to have larger, longer barrels as opposed to last year. Combat has also said vibration in their bats will be minimal.
