Easton Raw Power L6.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat End Load ASA SP13L6

Easton Raw Power L6.0 End Loaded 1 Piece Composite ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat

The Easton Raw Power slow pitch softball bat lineup is the most complete softball bat offering ever seen. Raw Power softball bats come in ASA,  composite/aluminum, balanced and end loaded.

The Easton L6.0 softball bat is a one piece, end loaded, 100% composite ASA softball bat. Let's dig deeper... The one piece design will let you feel more of the contact with the softball when you hit it. This is supposed to allow you to feel and control your swing to a greater degree than a two-piece bat. Similar to the Easton Salvo, the L6.0 Raw Power is end loaded, adding mass to the end of the barrel, and gives you more potential energy getting to the softball than a balanced bat, if you are strong enough to swing the end loaded model. The Easton 6.0 is approved for play in ASA, which recently loosened their bat standards to be closer to the USSSA 1.20 bat standard. The new ASA bats are hotter, and the 6.0 Raw Power is no exception.

Construction: One-piece, all IMX composite carbon fiber. Easton IMX composite is not their newest carbon fiber, but it is one of their best. Don't let the low price fool you, the IMX composite handle may allow a teeny bit more vibration to reach your hands, but the IMX is a tried and true material for making bats. Remember the incredible, best selling, Easton Salvo? That was IMX composite and so is the Easton L6. This is the best bang for you buck of all the Easton softball bats this year.

END LOADED 1 PIECE COMPOSITE DESIGN

  • 12 Inch Pro Length barrel
  • One piece design
  • IMX handle and barrel
  • Stiff handle
  • End Loaded for extra power
  • 29/32" handle with ultra-thin gauze grip
  • Approved for play in: 2013 ASA and ISF approved
  • 6 Month warranty

  • Review by: Mike P
  • Pros: This bat is just as hot as the $299 Easton bats. Stiff feeling feels good. They say it is end loaded but it is more of a slight end load like the old Easton SRV4 was. The sweet spot is huge and the whole barrel reacts well to any contact. Don't bother paying more for the black carbon handle, you don't need it. This bat is just as hot, the only difference is a tiny bit of, for lack of a better word, "vibration" than the black carbon bats. Don't worry about the 12 inch barrel being smaller than the 13.5" barrel on the balanced Easton slowpitch bats, the 12" barrel is plenty big. Remember, this is the same material in the barrel as the more expensive Easton softball bats in the Raw Power line.
  • Cons: Not 100% sure if I am sold on the new gauze grip tape on the new Easton slow pitch bats. The gauze feels like hard plastic; I think it should be softer. If you don't like the grip, rip it off and put a new one on because the 6.0 is still a great deal.

  • Pros: So I picked up a new Easton 6.0 today and it is just sick. They call me Big Gerald cause I am 6' 8". I think this bat broke-in with about 20 swings. I have seen reviews of people saying this is like the old SRV5 Easton Salvo so I had to pick one up myself and try it. What a beast! It is definitely stiff, but you dont get vibration at all. The L6 does not feel like it has much of an end load at all. I will compare it to some other bats soon, but the 6.0 feels like a mid load rather than an end load. The ball was jumping off this bat just as hard as my UTRIP bats.

  • Review by: Thomas
  • Pros: Hit this bat out of the wrapper in league last night and it is hot. Feels like a broken in Salvo, the thin handle and gauze grip allowed me to have more control and I was able to hit the ball anywhere I wanted. Hit a shot off the fence at 310ft and other shots were blazing off the bat. If you are looking for a great ASA bat this is the best way to go and for the price you really can not beat it.
  • Cons: The only cause of concern I have with the new Eastons are the end caps, you can notice in the pictures the slight mis match from barrel to end cap and the hologram in the end cap gets air pockets to create bubbles not sure yet if this will void warranty or not..waiting for an Easton rep to get back to me on that

  • Pros: Sickest bat ever. If you want to go yard and drop some bombs, then get the Easton 6.0 bat. I don't always play ASA cause I like see ball farther in USSSA, but when I do, I use this beast of a softball bat.

  • Pros: This bat is sick. I received mine today and hit bombs right out of the wrapper. ... It feels good and handles great. I know its only gonna get hotter and look forward to swinging this bad boy this yr. Great job with this bat Easton.
  • Cons: So far, my only concern is the 6mo warranty.

  • Pros: This bat came hot out of the wrapper. The end load is weighted near perfectly for my swing. For those that do not like a tremendous endload, but like more than a balanced bat, this is for you. Swing feels good, pop off the bat just feels "right". I've noticed an additional 15-20 feet on normal hits over my previous bat (Synergy). Really like this bat.
  • Cons: End cap had a piece bust out of it after only 3rd week (two league games and one tourney.) Heard about fragile end caps other places. However, bat still has plenty of pop and will continue to use until noticeable.

  • Pros: Really like the feel of this bat. I have a 28 oz. that swings just like my 30 oz. Salvo from last summer. Have about 300 swings on it in the last two weeks and have hit the ball really well. I am a line drive hitter that aims for gaps, but power hitters I play with have already started switching to using this bat when I have it out.
  • Cons: I am not a fan of the new grip that Easton is putting on their bats. Not much there for padding, and if you don't use batting gloves I feel like your hands would not enjoy swinging this bat. Have read about durability issues, but have experienced none so far with a pretty decent amount of swings on the bat in various temperatures.

  • Pros: very hot right out of the wrapper as people described, little to no vibration and hitting further than I was with my miken freak
  • Cons: after about 50-75 swings the paint started flying off the barrel. not just a few flakes im talking about 50 percent of the barrel was missing its paint. fortunately Easton sent me a new one but I haven't used the new one yet and am hoping this doesn't happen again.

  • Review by: Ron
  • Pros: This bat is a repainted SRV5 Easton Salvo for the new ASA standard. Easton made the L6 just as good as the $299 softball bats just so they could gain some market from their competitors! The Easton 6.0 is insane for the price. And for all the people out there who mess with their bats, the 6.0 does not even need it. The bat is hot out of the wrapper. I saw guys hitting softballs over the fence right out of the wrapper, then they "shaved" it and it did hit a little farther but it also broke within a week. Don't cheat with this bat, it doesn't need it.

  • Review by: Ninjarolamo
  • Pros: 1- Ron; kindly, this is not a "repainted" Easton Salvo. All of the bats this year are new designs with new features to adhere to the new ASA standards. The Salvo is outdated and is no longer in production. Hence why we have an entirely new line of bats. 2- This bat is stupid hot; great feel as a result of the stiff handle. You'll notice a little more vibration, but not if you hit it square which is actually a nice feature. It forces you to put a good swing on the ball if you value not having that tingle in your fingers. 3- Sounds great; looks great. 4- Plenty of pop; plenty of distance on both sides of the field. 5- Great style grip even though I just switched it out for a VRS. 6- Great bat all around. I'd recommend to mainly higher-skilled ball players looking for a gamer with a good bit of endload... Only because for less experienced hitters, the 12" barrel with added swing weight will require a more pure-swing and better connection to take full advantage of the smaller sweet spot.
  • Cons: Paint cracking along the S and T after only 50 or so swings... Not an issue for me because all of my bats eventually develop stress cracks from my over-swinging... But for some it may be un-aesthetically pleasing lol.

  • Pros: I opened my new 6.0 up in the parking lot for an ASA tournament this weekend. I did not put any swings on this bat before the tournament like I normally do when I get a new softball bat. First at bat and the first swing, I hit a line drive in the gap that went all the way to the wall. The first thing I noticed is how solid the bat feels and how much pop it has. Second AB I waited for the right pitch and drove the ball opposite field off the middle of the fence. I am very pleased with the Easton 6.0 bat. I have swung several Worths and 2013 Mikens, even the new Z2000 from Louisville slugger doesnt really compare to this bat.

  • Pros: It swings nice - reminds me of the SRV5 with a thinner handle. Ball comes off the bat nicely.
  • Cons: Two main problems. It is very unforgiving if you miss the sweet spot (which is pretty large). Secondly, it has bad durability. I've noticed the Easton ASA bats don't have great durability. The endcap broke about 20 days after the warranty was up.

And it was shooting rockets all over the field! hit our home run limit within the first 3 innings.( five homerun league). Balls in the air seemed to carry, balls on the ground made the infielders think twice. Great sound on contact, thin handle made it easy to control. Great purchase. Cant wait to see what it really does with a few more cuts on it.

  • Pros: Amazing power when you connect with the sweet spot. My first hit I hit a ball 350 feet home run and I'm only 5ft 7in and weigh 150 lbs.
  • Cons: Sweet spot is a little too small so for the 8/10 pitches that you don't contact the ball perfectly it hits good but not excellent. However I've hit 5 home runs when I finally do get the sweet spot

  • Pros: Have been using this bat for about 4 months now. Didnt like it for a long time but has broken in after about 700 swings and its hot. Hit several with it. Members of the team for the most part love it.
  • Cons: Developed a stress crack the first time out. Contacted seller and was told this is perfectly normal. Now there are about 25 cracks all over the barrel. Also the paint is coming off especially around the end cap. I have 3 year old bats that look newer than this one. However, this bat seems to get hotter the worse it looks. As long as your OK with your bat looking like you pulled it out of a swamp, go with the 6.0

  • Pros: This bat almost swings itself! I am a big fan of balanced bats (Easton Stealth user) because I often have elbow pain that makes swinging a problem. I have used end loaded bats before and have always had to shelf them due to pain, but I am really liking the feel of this bat (I chose the 28 oz). The head whips through the zone and the swing just feels natural and not like you are having to keep the head of the bat up as you get the swing going. I would recommend this bat to a friend. Also, switching from balanced to end loaded I was afraid of losing that 1.5 inches off the barrel...Not an issue, hot bat, hot price.
  • Cons: All of the reviews that say the paint is going to basically fall off the bat...I have yet to see this, but it makes me more tentative about swinging than I usually am, resulting in the ball bouncing off the fence and not sailing over it like it should. 6 month warranty, but that is now standard for Easton instead of the old 1 year policy, but that has nothing to do with the bat.

You know its a great bat when you don't have to hit around fielders you can hit straight at them because with this bat they are getting out the way of the ball.
  • Cons: BP'd about 200 hits so far and have no problems with it yet.

  • Pros: This bat is great for the price your paying! I was looking for something to replace my easton synergy tri-zone. I read up on it and just like most people say it has a great feel off the ball. going from balanced to endloaded has been a bit of an adventure for me. But i'm liking this bat very much. and for the price you can get them at there is no reason not to like it.
  • Cons: be ready to change up your swing if you are going from balance to end load. I went from a 26oz balance to 27oz with a 2 0z end load and it has changed the way i swing. But i am hitting lazers for days to where ever i want so i cant complain much. =) **USE GLOVES, BECAUSE GAUZE GRIP IS VERY UNFORGIVING**

  • Pros: Great bat! Lot's of reviews coming out stating this was best of 2013, that may be true. I have less than 100 hits on mine, and it pushes 300 with consistency for me and the other power guys on my team. We mostly swing an SRV4, OG Salvo, or One .12, and this equals, often exceeding all in distance regularly.
  • Cons: Nothing for a power hitter. Good feedback, slightly stiff, but expected from one piece. Control hitter should look elsewhere though...

  • Cons: Thicker tape around the handle would be better, but that's it.

  • Pros: Good bat. Takes about 200 swings to really get going but hits the .52 ASA ball very well. End load is very noticeable. Go down an ounce if you prefer lighter swing weight.
  • Cons: End load gets really heavy in the 27 and 28 oz. models. Factory grip is blah. Replace with a Lizard Skin. :)

  • Pros: You really can't beat it for the price. It's on the cheaper side, but still has good pop and a decent sweet spot. My only worry is that durability may be an issue, but I guess only time will tell. Overall, I'm happy with it so far.

  • Pros: POP right out of the wrapper, love this bat. This is my first composite bat. I did a lot of research for the best bat for the $ and I say this is it. If you are looking for a composite bat and dont want to spend $300 and up, this is the bat for you. I purchased the 26oz, for the speed(weight) to pop(distance) ratio, this is a great bat. If you want more distance, I would go with a 27-28oz.
  • Cons: I wish I got the 27oz, it might be a tad bit slower but I'm guessing instead of hitting the fence, they might be going over.

  • Pros: My favorite bat I've ever owned without question. I actually received this bat because the end cap on my Easton SSR4 cracked pre-season. I was crushed (and cracked apparently). I loved my SSR4 and was disappointed that I couldn't find another online. Easton replaced the bat, however, they also didn't have the SSR4 in stock and offered me this as a replacement. I remember feeling disappointed, but after some pep talks with my buddy and bat guru Dave, hopeful in the new bat. It didn't take long however for me to break my season home run records and put some softballs much deeper than I had ever dreamed. The bat was hot right out of the package for me and has only gotten better. For a 5'9" 150lb guy like my self to be hitting the ball this well has surprised many (and my bat has since been checked twice by the officials). We've already started considering a backup version of the bat! Enjoy this one; but save me one.
  • Cons: Per usual for these Easton bats the paint chips quick. I bought an Easton Bat sleeve for when its in the bag but, it happens. Doesn't effect the bat performance, but its style points lag a bit from it.

  • Does it matter what core ball you hit with .44 or 52.?
  • Asked by drew
  • A hard barrel is best for softer core balls, and a soft barrel is best for harder softballs. The Easton L6.0 is optimized to work great for any type of softball! If you are going to be using a "mush" ball, you may be best off with a Raw Steel or White Steel from Demarini.
