Easton Raw Power L6.0 End Loaded 1 Piece Composite ASA Slowpitch Softball Bat

The Easton Raw Power slow pitch softball bat lineup is the most complete softball bat offering ever seen. Raw Power softball bats come in ASA, USSSA, composite/aluminum, balanced and end loaded.

The Easton L6.0 softball bat is a one piece, end loaded, 100% composite ASA softball bat. Let's dig deeper... The one piece design will let you feel more of the contact with the softball when you hit it. This is supposed to allow you to feel and control your swing to a greater degree than a two-piece bat. Similar to the Easton Salvo, the L6.0 Raw Power is end loaded, adding mass to the end of the barrel, and gives you more potential energy getting to the softball than a balanced bat, if you are strong enough to swing the end loaded model. The Easton 6.0 is approved for play in ASA, which recently loosened their bat standards to be closer to the USSSA 1.20 bat standard. The new ASA bats are hotter, and the 6.0 Raw Power is no exception.

Construction: One-piece, all IMX composite carbon fiber. Easton IMX composite is not their newest carbon fiber, but it is one of their best. Don't let the low price fool you, the IMX composite handle may allow a teeny bit more vibration to reach your hands, but the IMX is a tried and true material for making bats. Remember the incredible, best selling, Easton Salvo? That was IMX composite and so is the Easton L6. This is the best bang for you buck of all the Easton softball bats this year.

END LOADED 1 PIECE COMPOSITE DESIGN

  • 12 Inch Pro Length barrel
  • One piece design
  • IMX handle and barrel
  • Stiff handle
  • End Loaded for extra power
  • 29/32" handle with ultra-thin gauze grip
  • Approved for play in: 2013 ASA and ISF approved
  • 6 Month warranty

  • Pros: Really like the feel of this bat. I have a 28 oz. that swings just like my 30 oz. Salvo from last summer. Have about 300 swings on it in the last two weeks and have hit the ball really well. I am a line drive hitter that aims for gaps, but power hitters I play with have already started switching to using this bat when I have it out.
  • Cons: I am not a fan of the new grip that Easton is putting on their bats. Not much there for padding, and if you don't use batting gloves I feel like your hands would not enjoy swinging this bat. Have read about durability issues, but have experienced none so far with a pretty decent amount of swings on the bat in various temperatures.

  • Pros: This bat came hot out of the wrapper. The end load is weighted near perfectly for my swing. For those that do not like a tremendous endload, but like more than a balanced bat, this is for you. Swing feels good, pop off the bat just feels "right". I've noticed an additional 15-20 feet on normal hits over my previous bat (Synergy). Really like this bat.
  • Cons: End cap had a piece bust out of it after only 3rd week (two league games and one tourney.) Heard about fragile end caps other places. However, bat still has plenty of pop and will continue to use until noticeable.

  • Pros: This bat is sick. I received mine today and hit bombs right out of the wrapper. ... It feels good and handles great. I know its only gonna get hotter and look forward to swinging this bad boy this yr. Great job with this bat Easton.
  • Cons: So far, my only concern is the 6mo warranty.

  • Pros: Another sick Easton softball bat for ASA. Buy this bat. Don't bother spending another $100 for the L4.0 when the 6.0 is just as good. I like the new bat tape style batting grip. No vibration.

  • Pros: Sickest bat ever. If you want to go yard and drop some bombs, then get the Easton 6.0 bat. I don't always play ASA cause I like see ball farther in USSSA, but when I do, I use this beast of a softball bat.

  • Pros: This is definitely hot out of the wrapper. I'm hitting really well with it and like it more than my old salvo.

  • Pros: Hit this bat out of the wrapper in league last night and it is hot. Feels like a broken in Salvo, the thin handle and gauze grip allowed me to have more control and I was able to hit the ball anywhere I wanted. Hit a shot off the fence at 310ft and other shots were blazing off the bat. If you are looking for a great ASA bat this is the best way to go and for the price you really can not beat it.
  • Cons: The only cause of concern I have with the new Eastons are the end caps, you can notice in the pictures the slight mis match from barrel to end cap and the hologram in the end cap gets air pockets to create bubbles not sure yet if this will void warranty or not..waiting for an Easton rep to get back to me on that

  • Pros: So I picked up a new Easton 6.0 today and it is just sick. They call me Big Gerald cause I am 6' 8". I think this bat broke-in with about 20 swings. I have seen reviews of people saying this is like the old SRV5 Easton Salvo so I had to pick one up myself and try it. What a beast! It is definitely stiff, but you dont get vibration at all. The L6 does not feel like it has much of an end load at all. I will compare it to some other bats soon, but the 6.0 feels like a mid load rather than an end load. The ball was jumping off this bat just as hard as my UTRIP bats.

  • Rating:
  • Pros: This bat is just as hot as the $299 Easton bats. Stiff feeling feels good. They say it is end loaded but it is more of a slight end load like the old Easton SRV4 was. The sweet spot is huge and the whole barrel reacts well to any contact. Don't bother paying more for the black carbon handle, you don't need it. This bat is just as hot, the only difference is a tiny bit of, for lack of a better word, "vibration" than the black carbon bats. Don't worry about the 12 inch barrel being smaller than the 13.5" barrel on the balanced Easton slowpitch bats, the 12" barrel is plenty big. Remember, this is the same material in the barrel as the more expensive Easton softball bats in the Raw Power line.
  • Cons: Not 100% sure if I am sold on the new gauze grip tape on the new Easton slow pitch bats. The gauze feels like hard plastic; I think it should be softer. If you don't like the grip, rip it off and put a new one on because the 6.0 is still a great deal.
