Easton Raw Power L9.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat End Load Aluminum SP13L9

Easton L9.0 Raw Power Softball Bat - End Loaded ASA/USSSA

The new high-end Easton Softball Bat line is called Raw Power. The 2013 Easton slowpitch softball bats are available in a variety of materials and weight distributions.

The Easton L9 softball bat is a one piece, all aluminum alloy slow pitch bat, giving the hitter a stiff feel and more feedback in the swing. The entire Easton L9.0 softball bat is made from Easton's top of the line THT100 Scandium Alloy. This is a great slowpitch bat for co-ed leagues, church leagues, and recreational leagues that do not allow composite bats or "Mulit-Wall" softball bats. An end loaded bat will help you swing for more power because of the added mass in the barrel.

Features:

  • Pro style 12 Inch end loaded barrel
  • Scandium THT100 alloy is durable and offers a larger sweet spot than other alloys
  • Gauze style ultra thin grip tape with 29/32" handle
  • Meets current 2013 and beyond ASA softball bat standards
  • Approved in: ASA, USSSA 2013 1.20 BPF, NSA, ISA, SSUSA, ISF
  • 1 Year Warranty

  • Pros: Nice pop. Can be used in colder weather (compared to composites) Works well with the new ASA ball. No need to rotate after each hit etc like composite.
  • Cons: I do not recommend using in a batting cage (voids the warranty).

  • Review by: Kevin
  • Pros: Good bat for single wall or alloy only leagues. Sweet spot is fairly big for an aluminum bat.
  • Cons: Takes 200 to 300 hits for this bat to open up. 28 oz with a 3oz end load felt heavy. I'd go with a 26oz if I was to purchase again.

  • Pros: Has good weight distribution if you like End Loaded. Got my warranty replacement without hassle.
  • Cons: First one I had got 3 or 4 dents with in 2 weeks. Warranty one they sent me held up well and was durable. This is 2014, DO NOT get a metal softball bat like this, go with COMP!

  • Pros: I play in a coed softball league and the bat list is not very kind to batters. I decided on this one after reading other good reviews. It was a nice looking bat out of the box. Nothing wild or colorful but a good looking bat. It felt great when holding it. First hitting session went well. It had a good sound and drove the ball well. I am not a pro, but this bat felt really good to swing. After 3 hitting sessions, the bat seems to be doing really well. I would recommend this bat to anybody looking for a single wall bat.
  • Cons: The only thing I would change about the bat is the grip that came with it. It is kind of a spiderweb-like grip, very thin. I prefer the more defined grip with a spongy feel. This had no effect on the way the bat performed though. I would, without a doubt, pick up this bat again

  • Pros: I am a coed recreational player, I am going into my second season. I picked up this bat because of the good ratings on this and other sites/forums. After receiving the bat, it hit well right out of the box. This was my first time using an end-loaded bat...and it was awesome. You can feel it in your swing, a small adjustment to my swing paid off BIG time with the end-load. I have roughly 100 hits on the bat now and it has done really well. I am very happy with it.
  • Cons: I did not care for the grip when I first used the bat, but it is starting to grow on me.

  • Is the end load on this bat greater than 1 oz?
  • Asked by Chris
  • The Easton Raw Power L9.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat End Load Aluminum SP13L9 has a specific end load for each size. The 34"/26oz has a 1oz end load, the 34"/27oz has a 2oz end load & the 34"/28oz (which is no longer in stock) had a 3oz end load.

  • Hi, I'm new to Cheap Bats. What is the difference with out of wrapper? Is there damage to the bat or has it otherwise been used? Thanks, Roger
  • Asked by Roger Gumerman
  • The bats listed out of the wrapper have been removed from the manufacturer's wrapping.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Are you allowed to return "out of the wrapper" bats?
  • Asked by Stretch
  • Out of wrapper bats may be returned if unused.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Are the bats out of wrapper new,or other,Thanks
  • Asked by Anthony Dejmek
  • We have some that are new and some that are out of the wrapper.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is there a difference in the bat when it is in wrapper vs out of wrapper? Not understanding the difference. Also, it comes with a 1 year warranty. What is covered during that year? Thinking strongly about purchasing this bat or at least one of the new Eastons. Thanks.
  • Asked by J Bow
  • A bat that is out of the wrapper can mean different things with different companies. With Cheapbats.com it means that a bat has been taken out of the wrapper by an employee for photos for the website or a bat that has been return unused but is out of its original manufacturer's wrapper. The one year manufacturer's warranty covers any defective in the structure of the bat such as cracks, dents, broken end caps or knobs or a bat has developed a rattle. The warranty does not cover cosmetic defects such as grip tape that has gone bat or chipping of paint.
