• Pros: With BBCOR limiting the sweet spot and pop of the bat, what it comes down to is the feel, vibration, and balance. When I originally swung this bat it had fantastic balance which resulted in a more powerful swing for me. Another feature I personally like is the loud ping noise it makes after a solid hit. This enables me to get feedback on all of my hits. I had previously used the marucci black (which is also a great bat), but, the velo is just as good if not better due to the fantastic balance. If you are a smaller hitter that needs that extra bat speed than this is your bat; but, if you are a power hitter than this bat will also suit you due to the one piece design which will help you power through the ball and give you the instant feedback.
• Cons: The grip is the most common issue in all of the reviews I have read; however, you should not let that discourage you from buying this bat. The grip is not as bad as people make it seem and with batting gloves it is actually a very nice grip.

• Pros: Bat has a lot of pop out of the wrapper. Much improved over last year's model. Love the composite end cap.
