2013 Easton XL2 Power Brigade BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz BB13X2

2013 Easton Power Brigade XL2 BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz BB13X2 A111612

The 2013 Easton XL2 BBCOR combines the best of both worlds; composite and aluminum. It all starts with the right foundation. With Easton's Solid Impact Construction (SIC) handles, black carbon fibers are spirally wrapped to create a solid, forgiving handle that will keep your hitter's hands virtually sting-free. The barrel of this BBCOR bat has been constructed with Easton's exclusive THT100 alloy, made to be extraordinarly durable against denting and cracking. As is the case with all Easton XL Series bats, the extended barrel length will increase the size of the sweet spot and give the player that little something extra they've been looking for.  Word of caution: Please don't attempt to use this bat unless you are prepared to hit massive jacks!!!

Features:

  • Extra-long barrel design for massive sweet spot and expanded hitting zone
  • Patented two-piece ConneXion technology for optimized feel at impact while maximizing energy transfer
  • THT100 scandium alloy barrel for greater durability and expanded sweet spots
  • 31/32" SIC black carbon tapered handle with performance diamond grip
  • 2 5/8" Barrel Diameter
  • BBCOR Certified
  • 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty

  • Pros: I got this bat because I couldn't afford the X1 but I think the pop on the X2 feels almost the exact same.

  • Pros: This bat is pretty good for the price. I'm 5 10 150 lbs and pretty strong, so this bat works well for me in the 33 oz model. Pretty good pop in the barrel but not the most forgiving on mishits. However the pop is comparable to the voodoo and the longer barrel helps a lot since it gives you a huge sweet spot.
  • Cons: bit end heavy but it was meant for that. If youre weak or have a slower bat speed get the s series or order a size lower than you normally would. Overall decent bat, but if youve got the cash (I don't haha) get the XL1. The composite seems more responsive on those than the aluminum

  • Pros: This bat has a huge barrel, awesome pop, and i love the yellow paint job. I ordered this bat with my birthday money i saved and it came the next day ( I live in Southern California) I have been using the 2013 Easton S3 and was worried that the top-heavy design of this bat would make it to hard to swing. But I took it too the park and hit the balls into the deep outfield 3/4 of the time. Even if i didn't, I hit line drives. This was my first top-heavy bats and I love it. I feel like I make batter contact and I definately produced more power. I picked up my old bat and it felt like a twig! This was also my first two peice bat and I like the feel to it. I couldn't feel any sting, and if i get jammed on the inside pitch the composite can still hit the ball in the outfield. Love this bat!
  • Cons: I understand this bat was made to be top-heavy, but I feel it can be a little more balanced. But that's it.

  • Do you have plenty of these left in 32"? My kid is not quite ready to buy but i'm wondering if he needs to do so soon or it will sell out. Any good reason to pay more for 2014 model?
  • Asked by john
  • As of today (August 12th., 2013), we have 1 left in stock in a 32/29 XL2. The XL2 BBCOR bat is not being offered in a 2014 version (at least not yet).
