2012 Anderson Ignite BBCOR Baseball Bat

Are you ready to Ignite your hitting potential? The Anderson Ignite XS BBCOR was designed to give you more power behind every swing. The new Ignite XS is a complete redesign of Anderson's classic one-piece single wall bat. This bat is designed to maximize Anderson's all-metal alloy, with a shape that optimizes the Moment of Inertia (MOI). This new alloy has a greater yield value and added strength that allows a lighter, more responsive, and larger Effective Hitting Area (EHA). Reducing the weight in the EHA, while maintaining the strength necessary to withstand consistent impact, allows for greater design versatility. This also helps in optimizing the MOI, which is one of the most overlooked, yet most important aspects of any bat. Optimizing the MOI makes it possible to swing the bat faster with less effort. For the hitter, this means more power behind every swing.

The Ignite XS is topped off with Anderson's TrueFlex End Cap that is designed to increase barrel strength and aid in vibration management. Also helping to decrease vibration is the TaperFlex Contour which uses design mapping and wall-thickness tuning to prevent productive energy from escaping the barrel. This allows the Ignite XS to have maximum energy transfer to every ball hit. The ultra-thin whip handle is designed to work in conjunction with the TaperFlex Contour to give players a comfortable feel and promote proper mechanics.Every curve and every component on an Anderson Ignite series bat adds to the efficiency of the product. That energy transfer efficiency equals better performance and provides the edge every player needs to compete effectively at the highest levels. Faster bat speed plus heavier overall weight equals surefire higher performance, every time. The Ignite XS is BBCOR Certified and legal for High School and College Play. Pros: The bat has amazing pop! It still pings even though its bbcor. Best balanced bat ive ive ever had!
Cons: It lastes me roughly 3 months...now it has two giant dents and it has become illegal because of the dents.

Pros: The Anderson Ignite BBCOR is quietly one of the best BBCOR bats out right now. Hits just as well as the Marucci Cat5.
Cons: The only thing is the small knob, which is not my favorite thing in the world, but is not that big of an issue.

I absolutely love this bat and I am sorry I bought any other bbcor bat. The number one bat on my list and will use only this bat until they change the rules again.

Pros: Great pop on the 2012 Anderson Ignite BBCOR!! If you like the traditional single piece alloy bat you'll like the Ignite. Come down to Home Run Park and test it out!

Pros: I got to use the Anderson Ignite BBCOR at a baseball practice and I really liked it. I have used the TPX Omaha and the Easton Rival as well and the Anderson Ignite hit just as well as the other aluminum BBCOR bats in my opinion.
