2013 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz DXCFC

The 2013 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat has undergone some heavy re-design this year and it’s definitely at the top of its game. While each of DeMarini’s technologies are remarkable in their own way, what really makes them innovative is how they are brought together in production. Because every hitter is different, there's no one bat that's right for everyone. Balanced or end-loaded, composite or metal, one-piece or two-piece, when DeMarini utilizes the best attributes from each of their extraordinary technologies, they can create a bat that gives each hitter an advantage unique to their swing, and that is just what they’ve done with the new CF5 BBCOR.

The 2013 CF5 has a Chaotic Design, Chaotic Speed, and Chaotic Power, and in this chaos DeMarini has found strength! The CF5 is constructed with DeMarini’s TR3 F.L.O. (Fuse Layer Optimized) Composite, a cutting edge formation of DeMarini’s tried and true TR3 composite. This naturally chaotic, random fusing of carbon fibers creates a more compact carbon, which makes a stronger and lighter bat than ever before. This stronger design allows the weight to be distributed evenly throughout the bat. Why is this important? Well, a more balanced bat produces faster bat speeds so you can generate even more power through the zone, exactly what you’ll need in a solid BBCOR Bat!

At the core of the CF5’s Double Wall construction is two independent composite walls with thin layers and tight weave separated by DeMarini Flex Film. This creates a dynamic springboard hitting surface with maximum trampoline effect and a massive sweet spot. If that wasn’t enough, the CF5's internal end cap is designed to maintain stiffness in the barrel. This keeps the energy focused at the impact of the ball and prevents power from escaping out the end of the bat, resulting in a better explosion off the barrel.

Using their new TR3 F.L.O. Composite technology, DeMarini has created their lightest swinging bat yet. The most technologically advanced bat in their lineup, the CF5 is insanely balanced and designed to get around to even the nastiest of pitches. Specifically created to optimize the barrel's balance and sweet spot, this bat laughs in the face of fastballs.

  • Pros: What's the best bbcor bat of 2013? The 2013 DeMarini CF5 is the best bat of 2013 without a doubt!!! I've been able to swing almost every bat from all the major companies for the last three years, and can say with confidence, outside of the illegal bats Rip-it and Marucci made in previous seasons there is no hotter bat on the BBCOR market.

  • Pros: Very balanced bat. Good bat for people that need a balanced bat feels lighter than other bats of the same weight. Good for swinging quickly through the strike zone.
  • Cons: It would not be a good bat for those that want a bat with a heavier barrel.
