  • Pros: Not many reviews on this catchers mitt, so I thought I would write one. Purchased for 10 year old daughter. it fits her well with some room to grow. It is stiff, but breaking in nicely. All of the youth 31 inch mitts were $50-$80 with mixed reviews from great to hate. So for a little more I bought a quality mitt. It is sized for a female hand. An adult male hand, at least mine, does not fit in this glove and my hands are average size. The catchers mitt she was using from the league was 34 inch with a loose and floppy pocket. She catches much better with this and will improve even more when it is completely broken in. 11" and 12" softballs fit in the pocket just fine.
