  • Review by: Josh
  • Pros: I just ordered the 28oz bat and probably have about 60 hits on it. It has great pop on it but still needs a some breaking in. For being balanced the load feels right above the hilt. This has allowed for awesome control and power for those line drives and grounders. Very solid build from end to end which is nice cause I have taken hits off the handle and the end with control and little vibration. The taping is awesome if you like thinner handles. It also has a great grip with and without batting gloves. It does have home run potential but needs breaking in. Highly recommended for the first time buyer as well as the season ball player.
  • Cons: Has a home run potential but it's a lot work to achieve that, unlike a end loaded bats but the control is unmatched.

  • Pros: Awesome Bat with an eye-catching paint scheme! Great balanced bat with plenty of pop. Has a few home runs on it in our military ASA only league. Haven't used it in U-trip yet; but, I'm certain the results would be similar. Bat has forgiveness from the sweet spot, as most decent balanced bats do. The team loves it and have dubbed it the "third offset" in reference to our military planners looking for the next level of combat. Lol.
  • Cons: As with all the new Easton bats... The factory grip is useless. Put a nice lizard skin on it and you'll love the bat's feel!

  • Pros: Hits well right out of the package. Didn't take much breaking in. The first game I brought this bat to I hit really well with it and now it's like the main bat my slowpitch team uses.
  • Cons: The handle is a little skinnier then I like them to be. I like thicker handles so I used lizard tape and wrapped it. That's really the only thing I didn't like about it.

  • Pros: Looks cool. But terrible bat.
  • Cons: This bat literally broke in half after 1 full season. Used it 2 games this season and it snapped in half. If I could attach the pictures to this review I would. DONT BUY THIS BAT. Besides that, it had very little pop after it was "broken in" not worth the price of 139.99. Honestly you'd be better off using a broom stick. At least when that breaks you wont be out 139.99

  • What bat would u compare the sp14bx to the most sp14b4 or sp13s2?
  • Asked by Johnny
  • All three bats are pretty much the same with different graphics. They are all one piece composite barrel bats using the imx composite with a 13.5" barrel.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this bat made in China or the U S?
  • Asked by Robert
  • This bat along with all of the slowpitch composite bats made by Easton are manufactured in China. The only American Made bats on the market that we carry are Miken and Worth.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How does this compare to the 2015 Salvo Slowpitch Balanced bat?
  • Asked by Bob Miller
  • The 2015 Salvo for ASA/USSSA dual stamp bat and the Easton Stars and Stripes bats are almost identical. Both bats have the same barrel and grip, the only difference will be the graphics on the two bats.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How does this bat compared to the power Brigade xl2
  • Asked by Woody Douglas
  • While both the XL2 and the Stars and Stripes bat both use the IMX composite the do vary. The XL2 has a 12" barrel while the Stars and Stripes has a 13" barrel given it a better balance. The Easton XL2 came with a 6 month manufacturer's warranty while the Stars and Stripes has a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

  • is this bat 100 mph or 98 mph?
  • Asked by Jack Gosbee
  • This is a dual stamped bat for both ASA and USSSA. Since it adheres to the ASA requirements this bat will be a 98mph bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How does this compare to the miken ultra 750 maxload performance wise
  • Asked by Nick
  • The Easton Stars and Stripes bat is of high performance. It comes down to brand preference and feel ultimately when deciding between two different bats of similar performance.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • what is the difference in the B3.0 B4.0 and BX.0 easton bats? and what is consider the best of the three? I need an ASA bat.
  • Asked by chandler
  • The 2014 Easton B3.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP14B3 is a 2-piece ASA bat, the 2014 Easton B4.0 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP14B4 is a 1-piece ASA bat & the Easton Stars And Stripes Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA Balanced BX.0 SP14BX is a 1-piece ASA/USSSA Dual Stamp bat. All 3 are made 100% composite by Easton and have great reviews. The B3.0 is probably the best of the 3 because it's a 2-piece, as the CXN piece connects the barrel to the handle, giving you great energy transfer and also eliminates some vibration from getting to your hands. Some people, though, prefer 1-piece bats... so it comes down to your personal preference on that.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • How does this bat compare to the Z3000 and Z4000 in preformence?
  • Asked by Twin1
  • The Easton Stars And Stripes Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA Balanced BX.0 SP14BX is composite, just like the Z3000 and Z4000, but has a different build that's going to make it very different from the Z3000 and Z4000 softball bats. The Z3000 and Z4000 are 3-piece bats, so they're going to have a ton of flex and eliminate sting almost entirely. The Stars and Stripes is a traditional 1-piece bat that's going to feel very sturdy, and if you miss hit the softball you will feel some sting.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Is the Easton Stars and Stripes bx.0 a single wall? Or double wall?
  • Asked by Jarid
  • The Easton Stars And Stripes Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA Balanced BX.0 SP14BX has many layers of composite that make up the barrel. It depends on what league you're playing in and how they view the bat. If you need a single wall aluminum, then this (being a composite) wouldn't be the bat you need. It's approved for all associations though, so unless it's an aluminum only league this bat should be approved.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • How does this bat compare to the synergy flex? That was my bat of choice but new league rules say bats must have new asa stamp.
  • Asked by matt
  • The Easton Stars And Stripes Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA Balanced BX.0 SP14BX is VERY similar to the 2008 Easton Synergy Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat. They are both dual stamp, 1-piece, 100% IMX composite, balanced & have 13.5" barrel lengths. If you liked the Synergy Flex, you'll definitely like the Stars & Stripes.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Will this bat give good performance for the 52 core ball? Our league allows both USSSA/ASA bats but we use the 52/300 ball.
  • Asked by RB57
  • The BX.0 bat is an ASA/USSSA approved bat. Any bat that is approved for ASA is made for the .52 core 300lb compression balls. The Stars and Stripes bat will do well with the 52/300 balls.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Any chance that there will be a similar exclusive End Loaded bat?
  • Asked by Logan
  • Unfortunately we will not be receiving any end loaded versions.
