2015 CLOSEOUT DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH 1.20 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA WTDXFLU-15

Made as a 2-piece Hybrid, the Flipper Aftermath 1.20 has the tools to be one of the best slowpitch softballs bats for 2015, ready to mash and crush the softball game. The Divergence Composite Barrel/SC4 Alloy Handle combination gives this Flipper 1.20 great barrel-to-handle energy transfer, which creates an enhanced trampoline effect in the barrel that will consistently increase the distances of your hits. Speaking of trampoline effect, the Dish End Cap redirects contact energy back to the sweet spot at the moment of impact, adding more power to your bombs while dampening that unwanted sting/vibration, keeping your hands comfortable at all times.

The Flipper Aftermath 1.20 has a long 13” Barrel Length, a 2 ¼” Barrel Diameter & comes with the 1.20 BPF USSSA approved stamp, legalizing this bat for slowpitch softball play.

  • Pros: This bat is Hot! My very first at bat with it... I hit a no doubter 3-run shot. It was not my bat so it had already been broken in, I am unaware of how long it took to be at full potential. Has some nice flex to it so that it can be forgiving. It was a chilly night (50-60 degrees) and still hitting hot as heck. Even infield ground balls can turn into infield singles/errors on fielders due to the pop in the bat.
  • Cons: No cons! Loved how the bat felt and everything. Great purchase.

  • Pros: I play in a non-restricted league and can use ASA or USSSA bats. I swooped on this bat last week and it is crazy. Using harder balls i think 375s and on the first night I hit a HR over the 300 fence with ease. Doesnt need much break in but can only imagine what it will be like in 200 swings.
  • Cons: Hope it doesnt crack with how hot it is

  • Pros: This bat is flat our a great performer. I like the grip on it but prefer something thinner and took it off for tape and Tiger Stick. I only have about 12 at bats with it, but so far I think it is a great bat and looks cool.

  • Pros: I bought this bat for wife for our coed league and just wanted to see what kind of pop it had. She pitched me one bucket and I was hitting blasts out of the field into an adjacent parking lot. Trying to keep them in the field I started to hit oppo and they were still going out. Can hardly fell the ball come off the bat when the sweet spot was hit. Just recently bought a 28oz miken freak black maxload and now have buyers remorse thanks to this bat. I realize that maybe I need a balanced bat or lighter endload to avoid all the pop-ups I hit with the Miken(Although it is still a very hot bat).
  • Cons: Ive read a few posts of them cracking so we will see.

  • Pros: Sickest USSSA bat I have ever hit! I was a line drive hitter with occasional pop, and now I am big hitter with the occasional scud through the infield. This bat changed the game for me.
  • Cons: Some tournaments I play in have outlawed this bat.

  • Pros: I swung the bat a few times in the batting cage and then played with it the next day. I had the best hits of the season so far with this bat. I was able to get a lot more pop off this bat and hit the gaps and holes. Another teammate bounced it off the fence with his first swing of the bat. Would definitely recommend this bat.

  • Pros: This is my first flipper bat. We tried this at a girls slow pitch softball game and then I tried in during an all coach game and hit my first two home runs ever. My daughter is a 6th grader and has never had more confidence batting. On top of that, all of her friends love the graphics so they want to use the bat too.
  • Cons: Daughters hand hurt from all the batting practice! I have nothing bad to say about this bat.

  • Is the barrel 100% composite, or is it a composite core with an aluminum outer layer? If not, any recommendations for a bat that has an aluminum outer layer and composite core?
  • Asked by Tony
  • Tony, this bat has an all-composite barrel with an all-aluminum handle. They don't make bats that have both composite and aluminum barrels at the same time, and if they have, I surely have never seen one.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Is this bat new and being a 2015 is it still covered under the manufacturers warranty?
  • Asked by Cody
  • These bats are new unused still in the manufacturer's wrapper. These bats do come with a one year manufacturer's warranty.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • You have a version of this bat for ASA. the blue/green design doesn't come down as far and doesn't cover the bat as much. Do you have any of those in stock?
  • Asked by A D
  • We will not be receiving any of the older models from DeMarini. We now just have on order 2017 models.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • It says getting the bat out of the wrapper is an option to buy. Is the bat still brand new with Demarini warranty if it isn't in the original wrapping?
  • Asked by Barry
  • Out of wrapper bats do NOT come with any warranty. The bats are new and used.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I'm accustomed to swinging a 26oz endloaded bat. With this balanced bat, would you recommend going up to 27 or staying at 26?
  • Asked by Garrett
  • It will all come down to what you prefer as the weight distribution will be different from an end loaded bat. If you are looking for a heavier feel we would recommend going with a 27oz., but if you still want to retain your bat speed we say stick with the 26oz.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How will this bat stand up against 44/375 balls?
  • Asked by Jared
  • This bat is made for the .44/375 ball. How long this bat will last or stand up has many different factors that go into that. The amount of swings the bat will take, the force behind each swing, the weather and whether the bat is changing environments, will all have a factor on the life of a bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I heard this bat was banned from USSSA national play. Is this true?
  • Asked by Andrew
  • The 2015 DeMarini Flipper Aftermath 1.20 slowpitch softball bat WTDXFLU-15 is currently still legal for USSSA national play but will all be determined on how the officials perform the compression test. Due to the construction of the bat it will not pass compression test at times unless done as specified by DeMarini.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this bat made to hit USSSA balls? I know this bat was originally made for asa play only last year and before...
  • Asked by Jim
  • The 2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH 1.20 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA WTDXFLU-15 is approved for USSSA play and is made to mash with USSSA softballs. There are two other Flipper models for this year that are made for ASA play.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Is this bat end loaded?
  • Asked by Hess
  • The 2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH 1.20 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA has a Balanced Swing Weight, but it does have a long 13" barrel with a nice head on it.
