2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH OG Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA WTDXFLS-15

Made as a 2-piece Hybrid, the Flipper Aftermath OG has the tools to be one of the best slowpitch softballs bats for 2015, ready to mash and crush the 52/300 softball game. The Divergence Composite Barrel/SC4 Alloy Handle combination gives this Flipper OG great barrel-to-handle energy transfer, which creates an enhanced trampoline effect in the barrel that will consistently increase the distances of your hits. Speaking of trampoline effect, the Dish End Cap redirects contact energy back to the sweet spot at the moment of impact, adding more power to your bombs while dampening that unwanted sting/vibration, keeping your hands comfortable at all times.

The Flipper Aftermath OG has a long 13” Barrel Length, a 2 ¼” Barrel Diameter & comes with the ASA approved stamp, legalizing this bat for slowpitch softball play.

  • Pros: The bat hits well out of the wrapper. Definitely a good bat. The added power compared to other bats is noticeable right away. I am not a power hitter but the ball comes off the bat with some power behind it. Several ladies we paly with also tried it out and were hitting the ball farther than usual.
  • Cons: The end cap appears like it could pop off easier than on other bats. Will have to wait and see with this.

  • Pros: The first 5-10 swings felt weird. After that, the bat opened up BIGTIME. Each swing was more and more pop. I heard that the new Demarinis dont take long to break in, but I was not expecting it to be this hot straight out of the wrapper. This is a top quality bat right here. No regrets.

  • Pros: This is my first year playing softball and my first bat that I have purchased for myself. After using other players bats on the team I have to say that this bat is amazing compared to them. Straight out of the wrapper this bat has amazing pop on hits. I even let some of the other guys use it and they were amazed how much more distance they got on their hits. Definitely worth the money for someone looking for a bat with little to no break in and looking for that edge over the competition. Awesome warranty if something happens to the bat within the first year of ownership is really nice as well. Cannot wait for the season to start tomorrow and see what I can go with this great bat.
  • Cons: I really cannot think of a single flaw that this bat has.

  • Pros: I loved this bat from the beginning. The graphics are nice and the pop and control from this bat are top notch. A couple people from my team also fell in love with this bat. Took my time breaking it in but this bat impressed me from the get go.
  • Cons: Now two months in and not even a full season completed and this bat nearly cracked in half. First hit of the day and the sound was very hallow, after the second hit of the day it sounded like mush. When i removed the protective sleeve i noticed the bat was nearly cracked in half, very dissapointed but i will see if demarini replaces it.

  • Whats the difference between the OG and the 1.20? also, why do they have different stamps, 1.20 usssa and og is ASA? does asa bats have more pop than USSSA?
  • Asked by bronson
  • The 2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH OG Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA WTDXFLS-15 is an ASA approved bat that is made for ASA play using the 52core/300lb compression softballs. The 2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH 1.20 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA WTDXFLU-15 is a USSSA approved bat that is made for USSSA play using the 52core/275lb compression softballs. Each of these bats were designed to maximize performance while staying within the strict regulations of their respective association approval (ASA, USSSA, etc). It just comes down to what your softball league(s) you play in and what they allow.

  • Is the OG Flipper Aftermath WTDXFLS-15 good to use on the 375-44 core softball?
  • Asked by Ray
  • The 2015 DeMarini FLIPPER AFTERMATH OG Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA WTDXFLS-15 is made to hit the 52core/300lb compression softball. However, new ASA bats are still made to be able to perform well with the 44core/375lb compression softball, though they tend to cause more damage to the bats over time.

  • Is this bat end loaded or balanced? What is the weighting on the other new Aftermaths? I have last years Aftermath and it feels kind of mid loaded.
