Review by: Nick Maou Date: Wednesday 08 April, 2009 Rating:  I bought this bat for my son a couple of weeks ago. He was previously using a Demarini 28/16 and now I got him the 29/17 Combat. At $200, it's expensive for an 11 yr old, but when your kid plays 50+ baseball games a year, you spend the money. I have to say, in batting practice before I bought the bat, he couldn't hit the ball out of the infield. In three games so far using this bat, he's 5 for 9 and all 5 hits were line drives into the OF. He LOVES the bat. The weight balance is amazing and the ball pops off it. I'd recommend it to any serious ball players out there!
