CLOSEOUT 2017 Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA USSSA End Loaded 011042

Anderson brings its A-game with the new and improved 2017 Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat! This beast is constructed with a Single Piece Design, crafted with AB-9000 Aerospace Alloy. This is the exact kind of aluminum material that’s used to launch planes 30,000 feet in the air, so take our word for it when we say the Flex has the durability of a tank. The Flex is made as a Balanced bat, as Anderson evenly distributes the weight to give hitters increased bat speed through the hitting zone and ultimate control at the plate. Also, the Flex has serious power and a Massive Sweet Spot, but you don’t have to swing with all your might to utilize it, as the Reduced Moment of Inertia gives you the ability to access all the power with your normal swing. The Flex for Slow Pitch Softball is also equipped with an Ultra Thin Handle, improvedSpiral Bat Grip and a 1.20 BPF USSSA Thumbprint Stamp, approving this Flex for play in USSSA, ASA, NSA and ISA. See you on the field!

  • Pros: This flex has a nice end load but it's not overkill, great overall feel, good stiffness, and decent pop compared to other single wall bats i have tried out. I definitely recommend. Thumbs up!!

  • Pros: I'm in a Singlewall only coed league that plays at night with sometimes _50*F weather. I used an Ultimate Weapon til I got some flat spots in it within 100 swings. Compared to the UW, the Flex 2017 feels sturdy, which is what I was looking for. I can't justify spending $150 a season on a UW, so hopefully the FLEX works out. For me, it hits the same distance as the UW.
  • Cons: Not as much pop as I would like, but still ok. If it holds up for more than a year, its a win in my book.

  • Pros: Bat handle has go good feel. Bat feels lighter than a 30 oz. bat, which is a plus.
  • Cons: Bat need to be broken in, after a 100 swings the bat was good.

  • I thought the Flex was supposed to be balanced. Is this a change? Is there a reason for the change?
  • Asked by Erik
  • In years past the Anderson Flex Slowpitch Softball Bat Single Wall was a balanced bat. The 2017 version unfortunately was made with more weight at the end of the barrel and will be considered end loaded.
  • Answered by Kevin
  • I've been swinging a Demarini raw steel 26oz for a while now, I feel it has a bit of end load. With this bat being balanced should I go up to a 28/30oz to make up for no end load?
  • Asked by Nick
  • Hi Nick. Yes, I always recommend going up an ounce or two when moving to a balanced slow pitch softball bat if you want a similar feeling to an end loaded bat.
