2014 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR Baseball Bat -3oz WTDXVDC-14

DeMarini is never satisfied. They are always looking for more ways to build the best baseball bats, and they will stop at nothing to be the most dominant BBCOR bat in the game of baseball. DeMarini engineers spend time in the lab, and the batting cages, day-in and day-out until a bat is perfected. Now more than ever, elite high school and college baseball players demand a BBCOR bat with the largest sweet spot. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo is the most powerful bat in the line up, with the massive X10 Alloy barrel tweaked with thinner walls for a hotter and more reactive sweet spot, rest assured the latest BBCOR Voodoo is a step up from the previous model. And with the all new Paradox Composite in the handle, the 2014 Voodoo BBCOR is stiffer than ever!

RCK Knob - This is one of the coolest features on the new Voodoo. DeMarini has rounded off the knob ever so slightly, making the bat extremely comfortable to grip, and keeping your pinky on a smooth, ergonomically correct surface. How did nobody think of this before?

Paradox Composite Handle - A paradox does not make sense. DeMarini Paradox Composite is new for 2014, and makes the handle stiffer, stronger, and yet, softer. Combined with the X10 Alloy aluminum barrel, the result is one of the most well thought out handle/barrel combinations a BBCOR bat has ever seen.

X10 Aluminum Alloy Barrel - No one feature alone makes the legendary X10 Alloy great, it is all in the details. DeMarini fine tunes and shapes the inner wall of the barrel to keep end weight down, and open up the sweet spot to be larger than ever.

Taper Ring Technology - Most BBCOR bats have a ring in the barrel to prevent the bat from performing above the limit of the BBCOR standard. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo has it's ring moved closer to the taper (middle) of the bat, which makes the 2014 Voodoo a touch more balanced than previous years.

Half + Half - This is what made DeMarini a household name. The two piece design gives DeMarini an advantage in weight and fine tuning the bat vs competitors.

Ion V End Cap - This lightweight end cap was designed for the new BBCOR Voodoo, to work together with the Paradox composite in the handle. The Ion V eliminates vibration while directing energy back in the the sweet spot, helping to prevent any loss of power in your swing.

2014 Demarini Voodoo BBCOR Bat Features:

  • Paradox Composite Handle
  • X10 Aluminum Alloy Barrel
  • Ergonomic RCK Knob
  • BBCOR Approved For High School and College
  • Minus 3 Ounce Length To Weight Ratio
  • 1 Year Warranty

PLEASE NOTE: GRIP TAPE IS GRAY (NOT GOLD AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS)

  • Pros: I swung this 2014 BBCOR Voodoo at the CheapBats.com batting cages today. I like the end load of the Voodoo and the way it helps me get more power. I used the NVS, too, but I like the Voodoo a little better in the bbcor bat. I feel the 2014 voodoo is a huge improvement over the 2013 model. There was no vibration and the way they made the knob is really smart and it does not hurt the bottom of your hand at all to swing the bat for long periods of time.

  • Pros: Sick stick. Got to swing it today at the demo house at CheapBats.com I love the feel of the 2014 DeMarini bats. Both the 2014 Voodoo BBCOR and the 2014 Vexxum BBCOR has great pop. Vexxum was too light for me but the Voodoo was just perfect. I will be picking one up soon.

  • Pros: I like the balance of the 2014 voodoo better than the 2013. I am hitting line drives like crazy with this bat. It was hard to decide which BBCOR bat to get but I think this is the best BBCOR because of the pop it has.

  • Pros: I love the swing weight. It is easy to swing and not too light and not too end loaded. It feels almost like a mid-load bbcor bat. Tons of pop and the balls seem to get by the infielders even faster than my last voodoo bbcor bat.

  • Pros: I switched from an Easton BBCOR bat to a DeMarini BBCOR bat after trying the 2014 voodoo bat at a demo house put on at the batting cages by my house. The balance is better than older Voodoo BBCOR bats and the pop is just as good or better than before with my Easton S1.

  • Pros: Just purchased this bat for my son who plays in the 16-18 year old Sr. Teener league. He was having trouble all season with the other bats we had and after seeing one of the 15 year olds on my other team hit 2 home runs in the same game I decided to pick one up...first at bat he crushed one over the centerfielders head. He loves the bat and the other coaches want one for a team bat. Awesome pop and great balance.
  • Cons: Putting this bat in the hands of a great hitter will almost be commiting a crime.

  • Cons: Compared to the big barrels the performance seems low however, my son felt he did well with it.

  • Review by: nuffsaid32
  • Pros: I purchased this bat about 2 weeks before our high school team had our first game. I took it to the cages about 5 times and it was broken in great. Such a solid bat because it feels very balanced in the swing not to end heavy and you can feel your swing really well. Throughout our season this thing just kept getting hotter and hotter. it wont go dead on you at all and i plan to keep it for next season too. the number one pro about the voodoo is its how well the bat is constructed with very balanced weight, larger than average sweet spot because it was designed with thinner walls and that it breaks in fast but well. i could tell that i was getting more distance on my line drives and a higher hard hit ball ratio. over all a definite buy if you want a top notch bat for the price. I would also say that this bat could hold its own against an Easton Mako any day and for a little bit less expensive with the same quality.
  • Cons: no cons but maybe buy another grip. which is only just so i could give a little bit more advice

  • Pros: Bought the 2014 33/30 Voodoo for my 15yr old son who has grown a lot over the past year and needed to go up a bat size. This is the first DeMarini bat he has ever owned. The Voodoo did not disappoint. Right out of the box he said it felt like it had more pop than the Easton S2 he was previously using. We were hesitant to switch to DeMarini at first fearing that the bat might be too end loaded for him but that is not the case at all. At 5'10 and 140lbs he said the bat feels perfectly balanced and it looks like he has not lost any bat speed. We looked at a lot of bats before deciding on the Voodoo and we are glad we did. Can't wait for the season to start.

  • What is the difference between 2013 and 2014 voodoo? Does a voodoo perform well for a contact hitter?
  • Asked by Debbie
  • This question will depend on which 2014 Voodoo you are looking at. The 2014 Voodoo Paradox and the 2013 model have no differences. The 2014 Voodoo Overlord does offer the new D-Fusion handle to eliminate vibration. The DeMarini Voodoo is a top heavy bat and recommended usually for a stronger hitter.

  • Asked by Dan349
  • Unfortunately this bat is no longer produced by DeMarini. DeMarini is on the verge of releasing their new Voodoo bat and we will not be receiving anymore of these in stock.
  • Answered by Kevin Bat Expert
  • This is really a great price for this bat and was wondering if it is brand new, never hit and A1 condition like you'd see in other retail outlets. Also, what size would you recommend for my son who is 5'11 and 155. Bat speed is about 74 mph. Thanks
  • Asked by T Chop
  • This bat is brand new, unused, still in the wrapper, direct from DeMarini. Our price is so low due to us trying to clear inventory for the new Voodoo being released. A child who is 5' 11" should probably be swinging a 33 inch bat but it will all be determined on what your child can handle.

  • Is the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR endloaded or balanced?

  • The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat is considered Endloaded, however, the 2014 BBCOR Voodoo is less Endloaded than the 2013 and the 2012 Voodoo BBCOR.
