  • Pros: Having swung the original Z1000 and Z2000 bats, I was a bit skeptical about the 2014 Z2000 measuring up. The OG Z's were HOT and this one is right on par. If you can get used to the unusual sound on contact, then you'll be pleased with this one. The phrase 'Hot right out of the wrapper' is over-used in my opinion, but I can't think of a better description for this bat. I've been hitting p-rockets with this thing since the first pitch was thrown to me.
  • Cons: Don't really have any cons with only 100 swings, other than the unusual sound it makes on contact.

  • Will this ever come out in Fastpitch weight ??? ie.... 24oz ???
  • Asked by nataly
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat is no longer manufactured by Louisville Slugger. The sizes we have remaining in stock are going to be the only sizes offered by us. We would recommend the Louisville Slugger Xeno if looking for a 24 ounce bat.

  • Does this bat have the 2012 NSA stamp on it if not can you recommend a simiiar bat that is ASA with the NSA stamp
  • Asked by Christy Groff
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SBZ214-AB only has the ASA and ISF approval stamps. You need the USSSA version Z2000, which has USSSA, NSA and ISA approval stamps. We are actually all sold out of the 2014 Z2000's in the USSSA version, but we have the 2015 version available (which are the same exact bat but with an updated paint job). Look for the 2015 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA Balanced SBZ215U-B if you want a balanced swing weight or the 2015 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat USSSA End Load SBZ215U-E if you want an end-loaded swing weight. They will both has the NSA approval you're looking for.

  • What ASA ball specs was this bat made for? .52/300 or .44/375
  • Asked by Jerrett
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SBZ214-AB, as well as all new ASA bats, are made to mash with the 52/300 softball. However, new ASA bats can also perform quite well with the 44/375 softballs as well.

  • What is the manufacturer warranty on this bat
  • Asked by jon
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 SBZ214-AB comes with a one you manufacturer's warranty against any defects such as cracks, dents or breaks. The warranty is only covered on a bat in normal used and does not cover grip tape.

  • We are playing at 9am in FL. Some mornings are only 60 degrees. I believe I read that coolest use is 65 degrees. Is this true, or is this an estimate? I love this bat. Thank you
  • Asked by Lanny
  • The 65 degree temperature is what Louisville Slugger recommends not using their bat under that temperature due to the bat being prone to cracking under that temperature.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this the reissue or is this like the original issue?
  • Asked by Jake
  • This is an original bat directly from Louisville Slugger. The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SBZ214-AB that we offer is new unused in the wrapper directly from the manufacturer and comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty. This is not a reissued bat.

  • Got my Z2000 ASA, so far have liked but tends to have different sound than any other bat out there? Kind of a Ping sound, is this normal?
  • Asked by Josh
  • The Z series bats by Louisville Slugger do have an unusual sound compared to any other bat on the market. That has been one of the major factors in the Z series with their construction is the sound it makes when making contact. All is normal with your bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Just wondering if the warranty is thru Louisville slugger
  • Asked by ryan
  • The one year manufacturer's warranty for the Louisville Slugger Z2000 will be through the manufacturer Louisville Slugger not the retailer. All bat warranties offered on our website are done through the manufacturer.

  • I understand there is a one year hassle free return policy. Can you confirm this? I would like to return this bat. If returned, is there a store credit issued or will there be a reverse on the charge on my cc
  • Asked by Steve Bimbo
  • This bat comes with a one year hassle free return policy when the bat is in new unused condition. A bat used may not be returned after 30 days. When a bat is returned it may be done so for a refund or an exchange.

  • What ist the BPF Rating of this bat? How do I get it certified my brand new bat was thrown out of my league because their was no rating printed on the barrel. They would not except the Asa stamp.
  • Asked by Steve
  • This bat has the new ASA stamp on it. If your league will not accept an ASA stamp you need to find out what your league requirements are. If you league requires a BPF stamp on your bat of 1.20 and the USSSA thumb print stamp you will need the SBZ214-UB or SBZ214-UE.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • What is the difference between the z2000 and the z3000? I am not sure what one to buy. What would be the better bat?
  • Asked by ty
  • The Z2000 and Z3000 are very similar bats. The major difference is that the Z3000 uses a different method to connect the handle and the barrel. This 3 piece design is said to dramatically reduce vibration in the hands, and increase the durability of the bat. Both softball bats will use the new Louisville Slugger exclusive, Pure 360 composite.
  • Answered by Mike P. - Bat Expert
  • I was wondering if this is still pre-order only or if it is up for sale and ready to be shipped now? Seeing as there are reviews for the bat..
  • Asked by Brett
  • The Z2000 softball bat has come in and out of stock several times since it was launched by Louisville Slugger. Our current bat availability, if any, will be displayed on this page near the top. Louisville has been extremely back ordered on this bat since it was originally announced, and we expect to be chasing inventory all year long. Our best reccomendation is placing a pre order to get your spot in line. We offer No Hassle Returns, and you can cancel the order at any time for a full refund.
  • Answered by Brad M. - Bat Expert
  • Is the z2000 asa only, or can it be used in usssa/nsa/isf?
  • Asked by jay
  • This bat has the ASA stamp and the ISF stamp only. The ASA Z2000 softball bat is unfortunately, not legal for USSSA play.
  • Answered by Brad M. - Bat Expert
  • I just ordered and received the 2014 Louisville slugger Z2000 softball bat. Why does it look like the 2013 bat and not how it looks like in the picture on the web page? Color wise.
  • Asked by peter kahoopii
  • I just grabbed one of the bats and compared it to the picture we have on our website, and I did not notice any significant differences. Sometimes, different computer screens can show colors different, depending on how they are calibrated. As always, our return policy is a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not happy with your bat, we are happy to assist with an exchange or refund.
  • Answered by Mike P - Product Expert
  • Hi, I would like to check if the 2014 Z2000 ASA Balanced softball bat has the ISF stamp on the bat itself? Thanks!
  • Asked by Gary
  • The ISF stamp is printed near the end cap of this softball bat.
