CLOSEOUT Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA End Loaded SBZ214-AE (26oz)

The freshly upgraded End Loaded ASA version of the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 softball bat is stronger and more durable than before. The End Loaded Z2000 feels heavier because of more mass is placed towards the end of the barrel. The idea is that stronger power hitters can swing the bat just as fast as a weaker player can swing a balanced softball bat. More mass traveling at the same speed equals, you got it, more power. The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 comes in both an ASA, version and a USSSA version. Louisville Slugger softball bats have recently become some our best selling slow pitch softball bats. The 2014 Z2000 is very similar to the 2013 version, but upgraded for increased durability. The Z2000 softball bat has tons of pop, plus we can hardly keep these on the shelves. Exclusive to the ASA Z2000 bats is the S1iD inner disc technology that allows the barrel to flex to barely legal limits, giving the barrel maximum trampoline effect, while staying just within the ASA softball bat standard. This means the ASA version of the Z2000 will be hot straight out of the wrapper with minimal break in time. The Pure 360 composite is Louisville Slugger's best composite material for softball bats. The Pure 360 is more durable and lighter than previous years due to tightened production tolerances.

Z2000 Softball Bat Features:

  • Pure 360 composite barrel and handle
  • S1iD Inner Disc allows maximum legal barrel trampoline
  • iST technology
  • End Loaded to reward stronger power hitters
  • Synthetic grip, 7/8" standard handle
  • 12" pro style barrel offers a massive sweet spot
  • ASA Stamp, ISF approved
  • One Year Manufacturer Warranty from Louisville Slugger

  • Pros: With out a doubt the most pop of any bat I have used. Anything hit solid with this bat is a shot. Even girls on coed that can swing the 28oz are crushing balls. Very happy with this bat.
  • Cons: Grip was a little slick at first.

  • Pros: I bought this bat about 2 months ago and it is hot from the get go. I am not a strong power hitter, but with this bat it doesn't take much. There is no real break in period with the bat, but the first 50 to 100 hits are going to sound like hitting a very odd aluminum bat. The ladies on my co-ed team also love this bat. For an end load the weight feels evenly distributed. Great look, hits ropes and bombs, best ASA bat by far on the market, durable, and not break-in time.
  • Cons: I personally have nothing bad to say about the bat. Some of my teammates complained about the grip being overly sticky, so I wrapped it with lizard skin wrap.

  • Pros: I am a rec softball player that plays twice a week. With that said, I have tried all the new latest and greatest bats.I purshased the z2000 because a guy on my team had one and he let me hit it a few times. This is am awesome Bat!!! Crushes 52/300 balls. Takes about 50 balls to totally break in and be super hot. Best bat for the price. Yes you can buy a $299 dollar bat but i promise you this bat is just as good and/or better. Happy hitting!!!!!
  • Cons: Extremely loud sound upon ball contact. Grip not as sticky as other bats in the same price range.

  • Pros: I bought this bat 2 weeks ago and the first hit off of it was just over the wall. It has a great feel to it when you connect with the ball. I love the thick grip that comes stock on it. For an end loaded bat it feels a little more balanced than my Easton but it does feel like there is more mass behind my hits swinging this bat. All my team mates have their own bats but little by little they are all using this one, they love it.
  • Cons: My team mates say they don't like the way the bat sounds but to tell you the truth I don't really notice it during the game.

  • Pros: Great pop, and great feel. This bat allows me to go deep to opposite field. The end load feels great going through the zone and really gave me that extra distance over my z3000 balanced. Seems to really be opening up with about 100 swings on it. Hit three homeruns in practice last night. Keep rotating the bat to find the real sweet spot.

  • Pros: Very well balanced for an end loaded bat. I've used other end loaded bats and this is just end loaded enough to still get through the zone quickly but with power. It was very hot out of the wrapper, and I'm about 100 hits in and its really starting to show its potential for power. Wow. For this price, I think this is the best bat out there. Plus, I know the Z-4000 has that handle that spins at the bottom. This doesn't so it makes it better than the Z-4000 just from that aspect.
  • Cons: Grip isn't soft, and kind of oily feeling. I just rub dirt on it before I hit and its fine though.

  • Is this nsa approved?
  • Asked by Morgan
  • This bat is NOT NSA approved
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Will this bat be good to hit 44. Core softballs in today's (2016) ASA tournaments?
  • Asked by E. St.
  • All ASA bats made after 2013 are made for the .52 core 300lb compression balls. This bat will perform with the harder balls but take more wear and tear from them as the .44/375 is a harder ball.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this bat 1 piece or 2 piece???
  • Asked by Albert
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 ASA End Load SBZ214-AE is a two piece full composite bat approved for ASA.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Because the bat is end loaded will it feel heavier then what the oz says ???
  • Asked by Mike lopez
  • End Loaded bats have more weight distributed towards the end of the bat making the illusion that they are heavier. An end loaded bat does require a stronger top hand and is usually geared towards bigger players or power hitters.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Hi, Are the bats brand new still in plastic?? Thanks
  • Asked by Kate
  • Yes, the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA End Loaded SBZ214-AE are all BRAND NEW and in the original wrappers.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • How much endload does the Z2000 have? And what compression/cor softballs are recommended for this bat?
  • Asked by Thatonedude22
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA End Loaded SBZ214-AE is an ASA bat, so it's made for the .52COR/300lb compression softballs. Also, this Z2000 has a 1oz End Load added to the barrel.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Does this bat have the 1.20 stamp?
  • Asked by Antonio
  • This bat does NOT have the 1.20 stamp on it as that is a USSSA stamp and this bat will be an ASA only approved bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Do you offer to roll the bats before shipping?
  • Asked by Charlie Lodge
  • We do not roll or shave bats.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • So I'm relatively new to the world of slowpitch and was wondering, does it make that much difference in power if you go with a 26oz vs a 28oz bat? I feel like I would have a lot more bat speed with the 26 but with the 28 you would have more bat mass in motion. Help
  • Asked by Flyone
  • Welcome to the game! The different weights are almost entirely a matter of personal preference. You are 100% correct about bat speed and more mass, if you a strong enough to swing a 28 ounce slowpitch bat quickly, you probably should. Regardless, there is no wrong choice. Go with what feels comfortable for you!
  • Answered by Bryan
  • My league has some restrictions to bats. The bat can't have a BPF higher than 1.20, it can't be a triple walled or a titanium bat, and it has to be stamped ASA approved. Does this bat meet all requirements?
  • Asked by Patrick
  • The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z2000 ASA End Loaded bat is indeed ASA approved and is not a triple wall or titanium. Being ASA approved this bat will not have a BPF higher than 1.20.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I can buy this bat brand new from Hock Sports ebay page for $189.99. It stills comes with the one year manufacture warranty and is still in the wrapper. I have heard very good thing about you guys though. I am also buying another bat after I can finish this message. Can you guys match their price? Thank you.
  • Asked by Geoff
  • We cannot match their price.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Does the bat come with the ISF stamp on it???? Which are all the stamps in the bat?
  • Asked by Omar
  • This bat does have the ISF stamp on it and will be ASA approved as well.
  • Answered by Kevin Bat Expert
  • Does it has the ISF stamp?
  • Asked by Softball
  • This bat does not have the ISF stamp on it.
