2015 CLOSEOUT DeMarini MERCY Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA WTDXMSP-15

Made as a 100% Composite 2-piece bat, the 2015 Mercy is hot right out of the wrapper, ready to crush from day one. The 4.ONE Composite Barrel/4.ONE Composite Handle gives the Mercy the ability to play soft and strong with unmatched durability. The barrel-to-handle energy transfer will be superior, maximizing the trampoline effect in the barrel with every hit. Speaking of trampoline effect, the Clutch 2 End Cap redirects contact energy back to the sweet spot at the moment of impact, adding more power to your bombs while dampening that unwanted sting/vibration, keeping your hands comfortable at all times.

The Mercy has a long 13” Barrel Length, a 2 ¼” Barrel Diameter & comes with the ASA approved stamp, legalizing this bat for slowpitch softball play at many fields across the USA.

  • Pros: I've never seen a bat change our teams batting average so drastically. Even our average hitters are getting triples and homeruns with this bat. This bat has amazing pop out of the wrapper. One of the best bats I have ever used, behind the 2013 version of it.

  • Pros: Great pop and awesome feel through the swing path. Feels lighter than 26oz bat
  • Cons: stiff out of the wrapper unlike previous mercy bats. Actually have to get some cuts on this one to open it up. Not really a con

  • Pros: I like everything about this bat. I have the 2014 mercy (purple and white), that bat was on fire. The 2015 mercy is just as hot out of the wrapper. If you like balanced bats this one is the perfect fit. I'm just a rec player that never hit a home run in my life. I hit my first home run last year, went on to average 2 homers a game. It sounds fabricated, but its not. I can not stress enough on how good the mercy line is.
  • Cons: My wife won't let me get more

  • Pros: Bought this bat for my wife and co-Ed church team and it is the perfect bat for them. Great for slower swing speeds and has a massive sweet spot for a two piece bat!
  • Cons: The only thing I am not a fan of is how thick the grip is, but some people like it. Either way that is something that can easily be changed by the end user.

  • Pros: The bat felt great and it was comfortable to swing, hit great and hit well. It does have great pop, felt like I found a great bat for our co-rec team.
  • Cons: After about 20-25 hits, the end cap came off. Called and spoke with Demarini customer service, didn't tell me much just tell me how to fill out the return form and email it, after about two days, received instruction for the return. Emailed to question about refunding for postage, didn't hear back yet and not sure if the bat is covered under the warranty or not, the customer service didn't say either way if they will refund, exchange or fix the bat.

  • Pros: This bat has a lot of "pop" to it! My first hit with it ended up being a triple! I recommend this bat for anyone who is looking for a new slow-pitch bat. DeMarini never fails to dissapoint, and the bat handle has enough comfort to where you may not need to wear gloves. 30-40 hits was all it took to break the bat in!

  • How would this bat do with 44 core 375 balls ? And what other ASA bats would you recommend for those ball specs. Thanks
  • Asked by EA
  • All ASA bats are made for .52/300 balls or .52/275 balls. Using a harder ball than the approved ASA balls on an ASA bat will put more wear and tear on your ASA bats. The Mercy will hit well with the harder balls but will cause your bat to break quicker.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Does this bat come with a warranty?
  • Asked by Rob
  • Yes, a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • How do these bats do with 47/375 balls? Would it do better or worse than with new flipper og?
  • Asked by Josh meyering
  • This bat is made for the .52 core 300lb compression balls just like the Flipper OG. Both bats are made for the ASA ball. The 47/375 ball is a harder ball and will put more wear and tear on the bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • what does it mean when it states "NO Warranty on Out Of Wrapper Bats"? I am assuming once you use the bat the warranty no longer exists.
  • Asked by The Bub
  • Any bat listed as "Out of Wrapper" does NOT come with a warranty. "NO Warranty on Out Of Wrapper Bats" means that bat listed does not come with any warranty at all.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • would you recommend this bat for guys or just girls?
  • Asked by jordan
  • The 2015 DeMarini Mercy is made for both men and women and does not have a women's stamp on it. This bat was originally designed for women have a super balanced swing weight but can be used by men as well who appreciate a balanced bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I have the same bat, but it has the ISF stamp and says Women's Slowpitch on it, what's the difference in the two?
  • Asked by Kristen
  • The 2015 models that we have from DeMarini do not have the ISF stamp nor do they say women's softball. We are not sure which bat you have. The 2014 model did have the ISF stamp and stated women's softball, but none of the 2015 models that we have carried say that.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Does the bat have women's on it? I've read about some not having women's and some versions having women's written not it.
  • Asked by Alonzo
  • The 2015 though designed for women, does NOT have women's softball or "women's" written on the bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this bat made for men or women?
  • Asked by Johnny
  • The DeMarini Mercy was originally made as a women's bat, but is now used both as a male and female bat. Some leagues do not always allow the Mercy to be used by men still, but that will all depend on the league. The Mercy is ASA approved and has a light swing weight ratio to allow for quick bat speed and give a competitive edge to those who cannot swing a heavier bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Does this bat come in 27oz endload? I'm looking for a 1 piece 27oz, I oz endload bat.
  • Asked by Kevin Kemmerer
  • The DeMarini Mercy is designed to be a light weight bat for women. 26 ounces is the heaviest this bat is offered in.
