2015 DeMarini CF7 Fastpitch Softball Bat -10oz. WTDXCFP-15

The drop 10 CF7 is not too light and not too heavy. It is just right! More elite players grip this model bat than many others out there on the market, and for good reason too. The weight of the -10 is perfectly balanced, allowing for optimum control through the swing zone. The Paradox Composite barrel on the new -10 has a massive, unparalleled sweet spot. Joining the cutting edge D-Fusion handle to the responsive barrel has dramatically increased the performance and comfortability of this bat, making it one of the hottest softball bats out there.

DeMarini CF series fastpitch softball bats have been tearing up the softball fields for a number of years. Cutting-edge design and technology are at the forefront of these popular bats. The 2015 CF7 lineup will not disappoint. DeMarini has added their D-Fusion handle to all models this year, making each bat more responsive, stiff, and capable of energy transfer back to the barrel.

The barrel is no slouch either. It is comprised of Paradox Composite, which makes for a softer, lengthened sweet spot with maximum response and trampoline effect. To put the icing on top of the cake, DeMarini has inserted their inverted, Clutch End Cap to every model as well. Much like the D-Fusion handle, these end caps transfer all energy back to the barrel, increasing every players odds to get the most out of their swings.

Put all this together, and you've got a softball wrecking arsenal ready to attack!

  • Pros: I hit a 2 run homer to bust open a 0-0 game in 3rd inning. Ball seems to be getting good jump off bat! have only used for 2 games so far, so bat still needs to be broken in! Nice look to bat also! I also have the cf 4 and cf 5. Just another great Demarini bat!!

  • Pros: I love the bat! It has a great pop, very light, and I get great bat speed because of how light it is. It is a very popular bat along the team and DeMarini is the perferred bat also. Very pleased with the performance of the bat.
  • Cons: There's is absolutely nothing that I don't like about this bat. It's a flawlessly designed bat. The only thing I think they could improve on a little more is the bat grip. It doesn't feel strong enough to last a while

  • Pros: My daughter absolutely LOVES this bat! It's got everything she's wanted in a bat, light weight, easy speed, great pop and has a good sweet spot. And it's coloring is on point! She says she likes how she gets a better bat speed because it's so light.
  • Cons: The one thing she said was a downfall of this bat was the bat grip. It wasn't enough for her to go without using her batting gloves, as the case with her old bat. She would like a more improved bat grip the next model around, and that would make the bat even better than it already is.

  • I thought 2015 LXT was a 3 piece bat. Wouldn't that make it flexible. I heard the LXT is a little end loaded. Is that correct
  • Asked by Coach
  • You are correct, Kevin is mistaken, the LXT Fastpitch bats are 3-piece composite bats that have the TRU3 piece. The LXT bats are made balanced, with fast swing speed and improved bat control as their focus. The CF7's, though made with a 2-piece design, are great bats as well AND you have the option to go balanced or end loaded (the CF7 Insane -10oz is End Loaded). Both the LXT and CF7 bats are going to reduce vibration/sting from getting to the hands, but the CF7s will have a bit more trampoline effect and pop while the LXTs will have more flex and play a bit more soft and strong. As Kevin said, it's going to come down to preference.

  • Looking for 31/21 fastpitch bat for 11 yr old. Can't decide between Demarini CF7 or Louisville LXT. What is difference and which is better. Are they both balanced with big sweet spot. Can't decide
  • Asked by Coach
  • It will come down to brand preference as both bats are high quality with a very similar performance. The DeMarini CF7 will have more flex than the Louisville Slugger LXT, but both are two piece composites. ****correction - 2015 Louisville Slugger LXT Fastpitch Softball bats are made as a 3-piece (not 2-piece) ****

  • How does the 2015 CF7 compare against the 2015 Xeno?
  • Asked by Doc
  • Both bats have a lot of pop and it will come down to brand preference. Both bats are two piece full composites.

  • My daughters DeMarini bat just went dead. it is only about a year and a half old. She is about 100 pounds and 60" tall. She has great bat speed and has pretty good power. I would like to get a new bat. What do you recommend?
  • Asked by Dennis Martire
  • The recommendation will all be determined by what your daughter prefers. Does she like alloy barreled bats or composite? One piece or two pieces? What do you want to spend? Without any knowledge other than her height and weight we would recommend the new 2015 Easton Mako, the 2015 DeMarini CF7, or the 2015 Louisville Slugger Xeno.

  • My 13 yr old has been swinging a -12 vendetta for about 2 years now and has outgrown it. Moving up to school ball this year we are trying to decide if a -10 CF7 is the right choice. She tends to pull everything left. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  • Asked by Mark
  • It is difficult to make that call over the internet without seeing her swing as she could be pulling the ball so much due to throwing her elbow out and pulling off the ball or it could be in fact that the bat is too light and she is too far ahead of the ball. Jumping up two ounces in weight could fix the problem if she is indeed just ahead of the pitch.

  • How does the cf7 differ from the cf6 other than the handle..thanks
  • Asked by Morgan
  • The composite design in the handle and the barrel had to be changed in order to work with the new D Fusion handle. Although the composite material is the same in both bats, the bat had to be built a little different in order to best work with the new handle. Overall, the main difference that a batter will notice is a better feel when hitting the ball. The handle greatly helps reduce vibration and discomfort in the hands.

  • Hi I am looking at buying the Cf7 -10 WTDXCFP-15 bat for my 12 year old daughter and want to know if that bat is a BPF 1.15 or a 1.20? Not sure if the little league lets them use a 1.20 BPF. Thank you
  • Asked by dale hipkins
  • Little League Softball Division requires the bats to have a 1.20 BPF. This bat does come with the 1.20 BPF stamp on it and is legal for Little League Softball Division.

  • How is the CF6 vs CF7?
  • Asked by Mark
  • The new CF7 fastpitch bats all feature the D-Fusion handle to prevent sting and vibration. Only the CF6 Insane had that feature last year. The CF7 barrels were redesigned on all of the new 2015 models to work perfectly with the new handles and to increase durability compared to the CF6 bats.
