2015 DeMarini CF7 Youth Big Barrel Baseball Bat -8oz WTDXCFR-15

Demarini has done it again! Bringing the hottest composite youth big barrel bats to the senior league game, the new drop -8 CF7 Demarini is an absolute terror on the field!

Starting with the Paradox +Plus Composite Barrel, this hot new, high strength carbon fiber barrel is promising even more of a balanced overall swing weight, as well as the most performance possible. The “Low Pro” End Cap made by Demarini complements the CF7’s already amazing balance, by ensuring it’s not adding any extra weight to the end of the bat, guaranteeing to keep that same great feeling all throughout the barrel with a huge sweet spot.

At the bottom of the bat, Demarini has used a wonderful new development in the knob to help save your hands. Called the “RCK knob” (Really Cool Knob) the inspired ergonomic design on the knob eliminates much of the pain and blisters commonly associated with long batting practice.

Moving up from the RCK knob you get the D-Fusion FT Handle. Demarini’s CF7 is fitted with one of the most technologically advanced handle systems in the industry. There is a new extra stiff Paradox carbon fiber rod that is combined with Demarini’s Thermo-fused taper. The rod and thermo-fused taper work together by capturing all energy that would otherwise be lost in the handle, and redirects it back into the barrel, giving you the most power in every swing. This redirection of energy also serves another purpose by eliminating all vibration in the hands, giving you not only one of the best  youth big barrel bats for 2015, but also the most comfortable.  Demarini connects it’s all composite two piece Senior league bat by FT (Flame Tempered) treatment. This fuses the barrel and handle together, giving you an uncompromised bonding of the two pieces, and insuring vibration doesn’t reach the hands.

  • Pros: My 12 yr old son hit the ball over the fence (200+') within the first bucket of practice. He has a Mako, Combat, and 5150, and has never done that. If he hits the ball off the fists, no sting. He has hit 2 doubles, a triple, 3 singles, in 2 games, if these fields had fences 2 would have been homers. Best bat he has in the bag and its not even broke in yet.
  • Cons: The grip is fat at the knob, he dont like that much. Changing to a lizard skin.

  • Pros: Several players on my 12u travel team really enjoy the feel and explosiveness of this bat. Have several 10 and 11 year olds that swing it with ease and crush the ball. Bat is easy to swing and weight is great, most of my kids are swinging -11 for little league and when they hit this bat they couldn't believe that is was a drop -8. They stated it didn't feel any heavier than what their -11 did. Highly recommend!!
  • Cons: My son had the same bat in Little League. Only con is I wish I would have bought the 31 inch also to go along with the 30 I bought.

  • My son is about 4 feet 11 inches tall and about 90 pounds and is 10 years old. Currently swings a 28/18 but wondering if the 29/21 is the better way to go. Strong kid.
  • Asked by Andy
  • Your child is sized according to bat charts to be a 29"/30" length bat. It will ultimately come down to what your child feels is the best fit for him.

  • Is this bat legal to use in little league junior division?
  • Asked by Ctisti
  • The 2015 DeMarini CF7 is NOT legal for the Junior Division of Little League. Their bat rules state that any big barrel bat used of composite material must meet the high school/ college regulations of BBCOR. This means the bat is a minus three (the difference between the length and weight) and may not exceed 2 5/8" in barrel diameter. Non-BBCOR big barrel bats may be used in the Junior's division of Little League but may be an alloy barrel.

  • Does this bat have a flared handle or is it straight?
  • Asked by JJ
  • The CF7 has a slight taper to it, but compared to other companies is not as big of a taper.

  • My son is 11 years old .looking into buying new bat, would the cf7 drop 8 big to heavy for him.He is 4 '8 and 70 pounds, wolud like to get hi the 30 22oz
  • Asked by oT hustler
  • According to the manufacturer's bat sizing chart, your child would fall under a 28" or 29" bat. That is just a recommendation for your child. If you child can swing the 30"/22oz. then it is recommended going with the bat the feels most comfortable to the player.

  • I am a 11u player, and I am a power hitter. My coach suggested a drop 8 bat. I am 110 plus lbs, and I am a little over 5ft. What size cf7 would work best for me. Thanks Reese
  • Asked by Reese
  • A 31" would be the recommended length for you to use. If your coach wants you swinging a drop 8, then the 2015 DeMarini CF7 Youth Big Barrel Baseball Bat -8oz WTDXCFR-15 in a 31"/23oz would be the size to get.
