CLOSEOUT 2015 Easton Raw Power Brian Wegman Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA End Loaded SP15BWA

Introducing the 2015 Brian Wegman Raw Power for slow-pitch! Easton constructs this bat with a Single Piece Design, crafted with 100% IMX Composite material. IMX is an advanced composite material that optimizes the sweet spot in the barrel and maximizes overall performance throughout the bat. The handle is made with Easton’s SIC Black Carbon Fiber, which is going to eliminate vibration and give hitters a better feel.

This particular slow-pitch Raw Power is preferred by power hitters, as it has an End Loaded Swing Weight, allowing more mass to meet the ball at impact for increased hitting distances. The 34”/26oz comes with a 1oz End Load, the 34"/27oz comes with a 2oz End Load, the 34”/28oz comes with a 3oz End Load & the 34”/30oz comes with a 4oz End Load. Lastly, this Brian Wegman Raw Power is approved by ASA and ISF softball associations.

  • Pros: Up to par with my usssa bats. Feels good from the start not like a log as some asa bats feel. After one round of BP it is definitely my asa gamer.
  • Cons: Sweet spot is a little small but shouldn't be an issue. Miss hits have a VERY different sound and feel.

  • Pros: Absolute steal for the price. Easton is always my go to, and this bat is just as good as any that I've owned. Decent pop out of the wrapper, and the end load feels good. So far I've only put around 100 swings on it, and it is already starting to open up. Easton's usually get really hot after 200-300 swings, so I'm pumped to see what this thing does after a few more rounds of BP.
  • Cons: Not a fan of the grip, but that is an easy fix.

  • Pros: Hottest bat I ever used straight out of the wrapper. Playing on a 305 ft field to the third base side of the fence the very first ball hit with the bat was easily 50 plus feet on the other side. Amazing performance. 28 oz 34 inch bat with 3 oz end load
  • Cons: Nothing wrong at all with this bat.

  • Pros: Bought the 27oz. A little stiff out of the wrapper, but it's opening up with about 200-300 swings on it. Finding the sweet spot really makes it sail. If you square up the ball but hit it off the end or the handle it's still solid enough to make a lot of balls fall in for base hits just over the infield. For $100 it's a great deal. The end load feels awesome to swing, this thing practically swings itself once you get it moving.
  • Cons: Sweet spot could be a little bigger, but I'm really being picky by saying that.

  • Pros: Great bat!! Did a little cage work and bp and it only took about 200 swings to fully break it in. After that, I'm hitting nothing but rocket shots and long balls. I'm 5'9 and 180 pounds and purchased the 27oz. The term "raw power" really fits this bat. This bat is a steal for the price and does just as much damage as those $250-$300 bats. I highly recommend this bat.
  • Cons: A lot of people say they don't like the grip but it doesn't bother me.

  • Pros: This bat is crazy hot out of the wrapper, the end load of the bat makes for a perfect feel as well. You can not go wrong for the price of this bat.
  • Cons: The grip was not efficient, I took the grip off the day it came. The only other thing that was a con for me was that they didn't have anymore 30oz bats left.

  • Pros: Number one: the price couldn't be beat!!! A 300$ bat that was on sale for 80$! A no brainer. Second: this is a hot bat, if you catch the sweet spot. It's endloaded so of course you want to focus on hitting the sweet spot for max performance. I broke the bat in at the cages to get about 100 swings on it. Probably still needs another 100 to unleash it's true power.
  • Cons: All the reviews claiming the factory grip is crappy are correct. Get a lizard skin, end of story.

  • Pros: This is a great bat at a great price. I took it to the batting cage to break it in. It felt great and I was hitting well. A few days later on my first at bat during a game, I hit a home run then a triple using the bat. I like the thin grips on the handle but my team mates didn't like it so much. that's why I give it a 4 star rating. I am 6'4 230 and I swing the bat well. my wife is 5'4 130 and usually uses a lighter bat. She does enjoy this bat and hit very well with it.
  • Cons: Thin grips. That;s only if you like fatter grips not a big deal though

  • Pros: Right out of the wrapper the bat has a good feel to it. With the end load the sweet spot is bigger and even the first few hits felt good. So far through the first 50-100 swings have been nice but the bat feels like it will get better with the next few hundred swings.
  • Cons: I need to re-grip the handle. I don't mind the skinny handle but the grip feels a little cheap and isn't very comfortable after a couple of swings.

  • Do you guys still sell the 34" 28 Oz bat? Or only the 26 Oz and 27 Oz versions?
  • Asked by Garrett
  • We only have 26 and 27 ounce bats remaining and will not be receiving anymore in stock.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • I like the feel and weight of a 27oz bats and im looking to try an endloaded bat. So if I were to go with a 26oz. Will it feel almost the same as a 27oz. bat?
  • Asked by lee
  • The 26 ounce Brian Wegman will have a 1 ounce end load, while the 27 ounce will have a 2 ounce end load. If you are not use to end loaded bats the 27 ounce may feel too heavy for you. We recommend getting the 26 ounce if you are looking for a true 27 ounce feel.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • does this bat have to be broken in before game use? also what means do you suggest? Rubber mallet?
  • Asked by Dave
  • Please never use anything on your bat other than standard hitting with softballs. All bats will get better with usage and there is no exact amount of break in any one bat may need.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • If it's a 2 oz endload how much does it actually weigh? 29 or still 27
  • Asked by Nieves
  • Easton weighs all bats before grip tape, knobs and end caps. All Easton Slowpitch Bats will naturally be heavier than listed due to this fact. The 27oz. will feel more like a 28oz.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Well I have a Miken endload that's 27 0z and I know there different bats but I have no clue which oz I should get for wegman end load. I weight about 214 and I'm 5'10
  • Asked by X
  • We recommend order a 27oz. if that is the size bat you normally swing.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Can I hit Asa .44 / 375 balls with this bat?
  • Asked by Craiggorama
  • All ASA bats are made for the .52 core 300 pound compression. You can use the SP15BWA Brian Wegman with the harder ball but it will put more wear and tear on your bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • what are the differences between the models brian Wegman (ASA) and Scott Kirby (ASA ) I'm interested in buying one
  • Asked by checo
  • The Easton Brian Wegman SP15BWA is a single piece design composite bat. The Easton Scott Kirby SP15SKA is a two piece design composite bat.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • what is BPF of this bat?
  • Asked by T
  • This bat does not come with the USSSA thumb print 1.2 BPF stamp on it as it is an ASA approved bat and it will only have the ASA certification stamp on it. ASA bats do not have a detailed BPF and you would have to contact Easton as they only state it is ASA approved.
  • Answered by Kevin (Customer Service)
  • Is this essentially a repaint of the L6.0 or L4.0?
  • Asked by G Money
  • The Brian Wegman does use the same material as the old Brett Helmer L4.0 bat.
