CLOSEOUT 2015 Easton Raw Power Bryson Baker Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP15BBA

Introducing the 2015 Bryson Baker Raw Power for slow-pitch! Easton constructs this bat as a 2-piece, connecting the barrel to the handle using Easton’s patented CXN piece, stabilizing the bat and providing incredibly energy transfer. The barrel is made with advanced IMX Composite, while the handle is made with SIC Black Carbon Fiber, giving you a great barrel-to-handle combination that optimizes the sweet spot and reduces unwanted vibration upon impact.

This particular slow-pitch Raw Power is preferred by contact hitters, as it has an Evenly Balanced Swing Weight to improve bat control and increase swing speed while going through the hitting zone. Lastly, this Bryson Baker Raw Power is approved by ASA and ISF softball associations.

Bryson Baker Raw Power ASA Features:

  • 2-piece Design using CXN
  • IMX Composite Barrel
  • SIC Black Carbon Handle
  • 29/32” Ultra-Thin Handle
  • Gauze Batting Grip
  • Evenly Balanced Swing Weight
  • 2 ¼” Barrel Diameter
  • 13.5" Barrel Length
  • Association Approval: ASA and ISF
  • One Year Warranty w/ No Hassle Returns

  • Pros: I am using this in my women's league that uses 11" balls and it is hitting hard! the 2 piece feel and how well balanced this 26 is i love it. I like how thin the grip is as i have smaller hands, but it is a little rough. I haven't used it much yet and it is already hitting hard so i can only imagine when i have a few hundreds hits on it how much better it will be.

  • Pros: I bought this bat when I was on vacation and happened to stumble into the store and bought this bat. I had an L3 and liked how balls flew off the bat, but I kept dropping my swing because of the 2oz load on the 27oz. I thought I'd try this balanced version in a 26oz. It's such an awesome deal, I couldn't pass it up. Got home and a put in some BP with some of the guys. We put in about 50-60 hits on it and we felt a little disappointed because it was falling short of what were used to getting on the distance with our other bats. I was not satisfied, so I emailed Cheap Bats to see if I can return. Unfortunately, the website, Cheap Bats, and the store, Home Run Park, use different paying systems and the only way I could return or exchange it is to physically go to the store with the receipt. Took it BP again a week later to give it another shot before I try and sell it. After about 15 hits the balls started flying! There was a lot of pop coming off it. I was thrilled. I like this balanced bat more than the L3 because it keeps me on target and I get real solid hits with it. I'm thinking it took more cuts to get it warmed up because we use Evil BP 52/300 balls to practice with instead of regular game balls. Don't pass up this bat especially at this price.

  • Pros: I swing with a finger or two off the bat to get crazy whip using my wrists. This bat has a nice knob and being balanced allows for great whip and has given me some good pop.
  • Cons: The grip hurts my hands

  • Pros: Love the bat the paint job is awesome took it out that wrapper last season and loved how it felt. Re-taped the handle with hockey tape don't care to much for the gauze grip. Was able to put the ball anywhere I wanted to on the field. Really had outfielders and infielders off guard where I was going. Being a base hitter this bat is perfect and if you have the perfect batting techniques you can go yard.
  • Cons: Takes some time to break

  • Pros: Just received this bat yesterday afternoon after ordering it Thursday night just in time for Gasparilla in Tampa, FL. Took it to the cages and right off the bat was definitely some pop. I've used Demarini, Combat and even Louisville and they have nothing on this beauty. Already took about 130 hacks and each swing I turned the bat every 1/4 to break it in. By the time I reached 40 I noticed that the balls were exploding off the bat. Can't wait to use it in a live setting with my team. The bat feels and looks great. Even got a few compliments at the cages when it was in use.

  • Pros: Despite being a 2-piece bat, has a 1-piece feel. Solid contact right out of the wrapper. Paint colors look nice. Have always used Easton for my ASA bats and have not been disappointed - and this bat is no exception.
  • Cons: Longer break-in time than other bat brands (but once broken in, the bat is hot). Grip that comes with the bat is uncomfortable.

  • Pros: Bat took about 30 swings to really start popping. After that, it is all that I expected. I added a padded grip to the handle just because I like a thicker grip. The balance is good and there is next to no vibration to the bat. it hits very solid. For the price you CANNOT beat this bat.
  • Cons: fit me very well and I found no Cons with the bat, other than the very thin taping of the handle. But I re-taped that to fit my preference.

  • Pros: Using this bat for women's league. Once i got it opened up I love the way it swings. The first game I used it in I hit nothing but solid line drives. Use a knob cuff to extend the coverage of your swing. Overall great bat for the price, can't beat it. If you're looking for a solid composite bat on a budget in would recommend this.
  • Cons: I'm smaller so it took a few swings to open it up and get more power from it when I made contact. Also have to be sure to hit it in the sweet spot for optimum distance.

  • Pros: Wanted a balanced, affordable, light option for my team of mostly new players. My new players are getting base hits, and it's being used by more then 50% of the line up.
  • Cons: My preference is for end loaded so I haven't used it much. Some negative feedback on grip. Tired of listening people asking if it's a banned bat because they added some old eastons to the list. It's not, my team likes it, and price point is great.

  • Pros: Cant wait to break this thing in even more. Used during modified pitch BP last Sunday with the team and had each guy take some cuts with it. Completely satisfied with the pop and feel this early! Multiple home runs hit with a brand new bat. Cant go wrong, especially for the price. We might even buy another one in different weight.
  • Cons: grip was thin but added some lizard skin and we are all set

  • Pros: Amazing Value @ $90. Love the feel of this bat or lack thereof. Barrel is looong, decent sweet spot. Sound is good, does not sound cheap. Don't think it was "hot" out of the wrapper. Good looking bat. Teammates liking it so far. I personally broke the bat in a little with a .52 Softball Mallet. I'm a 6'5 twig (170lbs) playing C league and have been having a blast with this bat. I switch between end load and and balanced, so far balanced has been a winner this year for my hitting style. I would of liked to try a 26oz, but with the 28oz results I can't complain. Had a couple teammates hit one over the fence with this bat at this weeks game (315ft). One player said it felt ever so slightly end loaded, compared to his Miken, I might agree.
  • Cons: Break in time, Grip.

  • Pros: Great Bat! Can't beat the price! Set it on a tee and took around 200 hacks to start opening up, but I didn't mind. Feels great and you could feel the bat slowly getting hot. Should be ready to roll by 400.
  • Cons: Grip is to thin for my taste, but since I paid $89 for the bat I added the lizard grip to make it $100 and shipped for free! Wish I bought two.

  • How can you tell if the bat has gone dead? ive hit a few balls hard recently and doest seem to have the same jump off the bat. When I hit the handle on the ground it makes a thud very little to no vibration?
  • Asked by Matt
  • Composite barrel bats actually will not go dead due to the nature of the material, which is why people are known to roll or shave their bats. The only way to tell if you have lost "pop" from your bat would be to do a compression test on the barrel. These bats do come with a one year manufacturer's warranty against any defect and Easton's Warranty Department may be reached at 1-888-259-1297.

  • Asked by Kyle
  • This bat is not 1.20 certified as it will have an ASA stamp and not a USSSA stamp.
