How would this bat fair against DeBeer Clincher softballs?

The Flipper will not perform as well as an alloy bat such as the Mayhem, Raw Steel, or Ultimate Weapon. The best bat made for the Clincher balls will be the new Windy City bat by DeMarini.

I was wondering of thos bat will hot 52 275 balls. Lile the asa version? Orwill it be a dud with them.

The Flipper Aftermath 1.20 is made for the harder balls such as the .44 375 balls. We do not have any reviews on this bat hitting the softer balls unfortunately.

So with the bat being a closeout deal is there still warranty and return options. If it's damaged or cracks?

This bat does still come with a one year manufacturer's warranty.

How will this bat hold up to 44/375 balls?

This is a USSSA sanctioned bat and made for the 44/375 ball.

I am simply curious why the FLU-16 is $40 cheaper than the FLU-15? IS the 2015 model seemingly a better bat?

We were able to obtain the WTDXFLU-16 at a cheaper closeout price from DeMarini than we were able to obtain the WTDXFLU-15.

Love the FLS15 Demarini Flipper half & half bat 34" 26oz, but it appears it is discontinued. Does the FLU-16 have the same or similar characteristics to the FLS15 or should I go to the FLS16? Thank you for your time, Semper Fi!

The FLU will not be ASA approved and the FLS will not be USSSA approved. If you need ASA approval you would need the WTDXFLS-16 and if you need USSSA or NSA approval you will need the WTDXFLU-16.

We use .47/375 balls. How will this bat work with these balls? Others you may recommend?

This bat is made for the .47/375 balls. Any USSSA approved bat will be made for these types of balls.

Is this the same bat as last year with new graphics or has it been redesigned?

The 2016 DeMarini Flipper Aftermath uses the ZnX alloy for the handle while the 2015 model uses the SC4 alloy. That and the graphics are the major change in the Aftermath.

Cons: Bought it because i loved last years model and this 16 flipper is a dud compared to this one demarini changing the alloy in the handle made a big difference in performance should of stuck with the sc4 alloy like last years

Pros: Definitley one of the hottest bats I've ever purchased out of the wrapper. Hits bombs and lines like my old broken in cl stadium and psycho. Have trouble keeping ball Insidethe fence and I'm far from a huge power hitter. Thing will be a monster when broken in.

Pros: So far the bat is better than expected. Even lifted a couple into the outfield for base hits when I put a bad swing on it and hit the ball off the handle. I'm not a home run hitter, I live off of right-center field singles and doubles. The bat has good pop even for me - straight out of the wrapper.

Pros: This is my first DeMarini bat purchase. I have had two Miken bats in the past. I'm not a homerun hitter and like a balanced bat. This bat has lots of pop and is hitting line drives to the fence right out of the wrapper. Im very pleased with this purchase and look forward to playing with this bat in 2017.
Cons: The grip on this bat overlays and is not tapered on the sides so the overlay sticks up. I have a feeling it is going to start curling back after some use. Wish they would have used a grip that was tapered on the sides like my past Mikens.

Pros: This bat feels great and is hot out of the wrapper. With only a few dozen swings on it i'm already getting more distance and harder hit balls. This bat crushes u-trip Classic M balls and seems to be hitting 52/300 ASA balls just fine too. The balance is great and the sweet spot is large. It's getting hotter with each swing.
Cons: Testing hot right out of the wrapper. It may become too hot to use in leagues that regularly test bats. Not the bat's fault though.

Pros: Shipping was really quick. The bat has a very slick appearance, not too loud of a pattern. The pop off of the bat is great. I'm 5' 4" ,140 lbs. and can hit it over a 300' fence.
Cons: Probably need batting gloves when it's hot since the grip is a little slippery.
