  • Pros: Easton is 100% back in the softball game. Always hated Eastons, and the 3,000 swings they took to compete with other manufacturers. Those days are over and this bat is the real deal. My first one got hot after 100-150 swings. It lasted around 800 swings, then cracked. With Easton you get 3 returns within 1 year. If you want a game bat, as well as a BP bat that will hang with anything out there, here it is.

  • Pros: Amazing bat. It is ready to go right away
  • Cons: It tested at 275 right when I received it. After less than 300 swings it was testing at 250 already. So I guess you could say it's a pro or a con

  • Pros: Eastons best bat vs competition in 17 years. Bat felt hot right out of wrapper.
  • Cons: Too early to see how durable and the grip seems like it won't last long.

  • Pros: Less than 50 swings prior to my first game swings and it has a nice crack sound to it. Exit speed is decent for being brand new. The Flex keeps up with my 1500 hit Kirby. It has at least 1oz of endload so buyer beware.
  • Cons: The grip is too thick but an easy fix with hockey tape.

  • Pros: This Easton surprised me! It had Pop right out of the wrapper. More so then my Miken freak black or Demarini. When you hit that seeetspot , it flies . Then end load has a perfect balance. Not too much, just enough to feel it. This bat is awesome! Plus it has my favorite colors, silver and black baby !!

  • Pros: Took it out of the wrapper and used it in a game right away. The pop and the sound that came off as the ball was hit was solid. Ball was traveling far even though it didn't always hit the sweet spot. Can't wait to see what more this bat does once broken in. Great purchase!!

  • Pros: This is my first year playing softball. Not knowing anything about bats, I went out and bought a cheap Miken and was very disappointed. My friend has this bat and let me borrow it. World of difference! The ball was flying off this bat! I tested out some other bats including a Freak and I was still hitting the best with the Easton. I liked it so much I had to buy my own. Even brand new this bat is hot.
  • Cons: It's black so it does look dirty real quick.

  • Pros: First swing was monster to the fence. Then about 5 other guys from the team wanted to try it and hit with it the rest of the game. Our lead off hitter who is just fast, was smacking balls like he should be batting clean up. I smacked one about 320 for a home run. This bat is ready to go!!!

  • Pros: I've been playing softball for 15 yrs and this is the first bat I ever bought and within 20 swings it was broken in. We play with gold dot balls and I have been hitting homers like crazy. When you connect, it is a no doubter. Everyone on the team uses it now.
  • Cons: Its just my preference, but the handle and grip are a bit thin, so I wrapped it to my preference.

  • Pros: Let me start saying that I would rather to give it 4.5 stars. The bat has a really good sweet spot with the 13.5" barrel. The feeling is great and with the 1.5oz (28oz bat) end loaded I was able to add extra distance miles to the ball. My friends used the bat and they loved it because of that. The feelings is weird at the beginning if you are not use to end loaded bat because this has the 1.5oz at the end and you need to get use to it when you swing (no a big deal). I play in a men fastpich league and we use 44/375 or 44/400 balls and this bat was killing these balls. I will not be able to provide a feedback with mushy balls because I really hate to play with those balls or with slowwww pitch. In my opinion if that is your case I believe you will get a better performance with a 1 piece bat because this bat has the flex technology helping with more bending (trampoline effect) with harder balls. In general is a very good bat for those power hitters and it also forgive you a little more with the 13.5 barrel and the TCT composite design. Even when it is a 2016 bat it has the 2017 technology for Easton. The most important about this review is the performance and this bat can provide that!!!!
  • Cons: Let me star here saying that even when I have a few cons comments, these are more because I always pay a lot of attentions to the details. First I will say durability. I used this bat for the team (this is not recommended by any bat manufacturing company) and for that reason after 7 months and playing games at least 2 times per week the bat got cracked and I had to replace it. The bad new was Easton doesn't carry this model anymore and they have to send me a different model 2017 Helmer flex, which is not really really bad but I prefer the 2016 13.5" barrel. The CXN zero barrel technology is a piece of rubber at the end of the handle, which works as they say it will, but to be honest that piece of rubber is a bad idea or at least they need to find a different material than simple rubber. This piece started to rip out after a couple of months. I imagine sometimes we hit the ball in that area but I have seen a couple of Easton bats with that technology and that rubber is gone (Easton should find something else to protect that rubber) buttttt the technology works as describe because it optimize the feeling when you hit the ball. This is NOT a hot bat out the wrapper I do not care what others reviews say about it. I tested myself and after 100 or maybe a little more swings (hitting the ball of course) even the sound was different in a good way and when the bat was hot it was really hot. But please do not expect the best performance immediately. People complain about the color which is not big deal because I have seen many bats that looks uglier after a couple of games and this black color is not bad at all. The grip is not bad but I removed it because I prepared my bat with Knobcuff EZ taper and Lizard Skin to add the grip I was looking for (personal preference). In general a great bat with some details to improve but about performance the bat is great for those power hitter.

  • Pros: This bat should say Worth or Miken on it because NO Easton bat has ever hit like this bat. Out of the wrapper was hitting lazers and big bombs, 25-50 swings and its game ready. Easton changed their technology with this bat making the walls thinner for a shorter break in time and it worked! I am also a fan of the 13.5" barrel, unlike other Helmers with a 12" barrel.
  • Cons: None at all

  • Pros: Bat had a great feel and sound right out of the wrapper. Not like a normal Easton that requires a ton of swings to get broken in. Game ready with 25-50 swings if that. The large barrel gives the bat a huge sweetspot. The ball jumps off the bat.
  • Cons: The grip as usual sucks

  • Pros: Bat had a great feel and sound right out of the wrapper. Not like a normal Easton that needed a lot of swings to get hot. Great look and definitely performs as promoted. Let a couple buddies swing it and within two swings they was ordering one as well. Game ready at 25 swings. Would refer this bat to anyone who wants to see the ball jump off the bat.
  • Cons: As normal the grip sucks but just tape it or lizard skin and the bat is ready to go.

  • Pros: Like the looks of it. When you hit it solid, it feels really good
  • Cons: I am in the middle of breaking it in. It has a lot of vibration in the handle on a miss hit or when you get jammed. My boys both swing the MAKO and I bought this because it's made of the same material. They have never felt the vibration as this bat has.
