  • Pros: I'm leaving this review on behalf of the Demarini Flipper Aftermath 1.20. The bat has great response and presence on the very first hit! Whether you're a fundamentals player or home run machine, this bat could be a great tool for you. It looks amazing to boot.
  • Cons: None! My preference has now shifted from end-loaded to Balanced, & I'm not ashamed!

  • Pros: Very hot out of the wrapper! Ball jumps off this bat. I have last years end loaded flipper and it took 100 swings to get it going, this balanced flipper took zero swings. Balanced bats are heavier than end loaded so I suggest going down a ounce.

  • Pros: This bat crushed the ball right out of the wrapper with no break in at all. Guys on the team who don't hit home runs were blasting the ball over the fence and the women were putting the ball over the outfielders heads consistently. It also added 40 feet to my pop ups.

  • Pros: Balanced bat that feels like it has a half ounce endload. Amazing feel and sound straight out of the wrapper. Soft impact with a nice crack of the bat sound. Ball really explodes off the barrel. Love this bat and Ive only used it for one night straight out of the wrapper. 52/300 balls
  • Cons: Very small knob that some people will not like. I wrapped some tape around the knob and built it up for my liking. Easy fix

  • How does this compare to the 2015 version? Is it the same bat with a new paint job?
  • Asked by Tony
  • Tony, yes, for the most part the FLS-15 and the FLS-17 Flipper bats are the same. The only differences are the upgraded aluminum alloy handle in the FLS-17 and the new paint scheme.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • Can you hit this bat with a ladies 44 core ball and not damage the bat?
  • Asked by Sarah
  • This is an ASA bat made for .52/300lb or .47/275 balls which will be a softer ball than the .44/375 women's ball. It can be used but the women's ball will put a little more wear and tear on your bat.

  • What is the BPF rating of this bat?
  • Asked by Leo Sterger
  • This bat does not have a BPF. ASA approved bats have never adopted a BPF but rather use a Batted Ball Speed. ASA bats have a Batted Ball Speed of no more than 98mph. If your league or tournament require a BPF listed on your bat you will need a USSSA approved bat as USSSA uses the BPF standard.
