2018 Louisville Slugger Super Z1000 Jeff Hall Slowpitch Softball Bat Power Loaded USSSA WTLSZU18P

This Super Z1000 is constructed as a 2-piece and crafted with 100% composite material. The barrel is made with Louisville Slugger's high end LS-2X composite, featuring a quicker break-in design for maximum performance right out of the wrapper! The IST XStiff handle gives this bat a stiffer feel for increased energy transfer, while also keeping the bat from feeling too whippy as you swing through the hitting zone. The "Power Load" is an enhanced end-load, giving this bat an additional 0.5oz of weight added to the end of the barrel for increased power potential, just like Jeff Hall likes it. • Pros: The bat has pop. I would say put around 100 kuts on it and you'll be glad you brought one.I enjoyed my 26.5 so much, I got a 25.5. It has that Louisville noise but it will go away quickly into a nice POW. for this price, at least try one.
  • Cons: None really but, my 25.5 has a slight wobble at the connection but doesn't affect anything. Other than that, get one.

  • Pros: Awesome bat, I already had a 25.5 oz model of this bat and loved swinging it from day 1, so I bought another one, 26.5 oz.
  • Cons: I haven't found anything wring with this bat

  • Review by: Noel
  • Pros: Took about 200 hits before the bat started to open up. Wasn’t getting distance at first but some solid hits. After the 200 hits I started to see the difference. Great bat especially for the price. Doesn’t break the bank
  • Cons: Not hot out the wrapper

  • Pros: I have had the bat for 2 weeks now and it feels great. I purchased the 26.5 and it has been working great for me. I was also a big fan of the Z2000 (27oz) end load. To me these bats feel a lot alike which I love. Since I have gone back on the weight 1/2 oz I have been getting my hands across the plate a lot quicker. It comes out of the wrapper Hot! But does feel stiff in the beginning you will have to warm the bat up a little bit before it feels better in the hands.
  • Cons: The only thing for me is how it sounds. When you hit with it you get a ping sound but maybe after another 100 swings it will sound better. Other than that I have no other complaints

  • Pros: We bought as a team bat and we were very pleased with the performance right out of the wrapper. Going into 2nd season with it now and looking better all the time. For the money I feel we hit a HR with this bat purchase.
  • Cons: Everyone bugging us about wanting to buy it off of us.

  • Will Louisville honor a receipt for a return on a broken bat within the first year?
  • Asked by Kyle
  • Absolutely, they will. CheapBats.com is one of Louisville Slugger's oldest dealers. We began selling their bats in 1961 in our batting cages/retail store in Anahiem, CA.
  • Answered by Mike
  • Looking to purchase the bat but I've never swung a power load bat before. I swing the dual stamp Z4000 EndLoad and the dual stamp Z4 Balanced both 27oz. My question is should I go with the 26.5oz or the 27.5oz? Thank you.
  • Asked by Juan
  • It just comes down to your own personal preference. They both perform the same, it's just a matter of you finding the right mix of power and bat control for your own swing.
  • Answered by Kris (Bat Expert)
  • I noticed the barrel length is shorter on the 25.5 ounce, how much shorter is it exactly?
  • Asked by Miguel
  • According to the R&D Team, the barrel length of the 25.5 oz. was reduced by 11 mm (0.4333 inches) to meet the total weight of 25.5 oz. The length of the bat is still 34”.
  • Answered by Mike
  • Why is there a version with a pink connector piece and a version with a black connector piece? Is one hotter than the other?
  • Asked by Jeffrey
  • There is no difference in performance. The pink band was on the bat when Louisville Slugger shot images for their catalog, but they decided to change the color to black shortly thereafter for mass production.
  • Answered by Mike
  • is there a difference in the amount of endload between the Jeff Hall and the regular endload model?
  • Asked by Ryan
  • The Jeff Hall Z1000 has a full 1 ounce end load and the regular Z1000 has a 1/2 ounce end load.
