  • Pros: I usually play ASA, so it was nice to bust out the USSSA version of the new Miken Freak. The grip is really nice. I wouldn't even bother to put a Lizard Skin on it, it's that good. The sweet spot is huge. No matter where I made contact, the ball jumped off the bat, even on medium effort swings. What I didn't feel was vibration. I think this is one of several reasons Miken and Worth have taken so much of the bat business away from Easton and DeMarini and Slugger. The ball just goes, and the barrel doesn't punish you when you get jammed or mis hit the ball. I hit the Twisted Mistress and the Freak 23 USSSA side by side, and they are both really good at hitting the ball hard, but the Freak 23 edges it out by an eyelash.
  • Cons: Not one.

  • Pros: Took the bat out of the wrapper straight to the field, 80 degree Florida temp using .44 375 balls on a 300' field. First swing I could tell this was a great stick. Had the normal PING sound as all new bats do, but the exit speed and distance were unreal. After around 50 swings the PING got less and the MIKEN CRACK came alive. I put a total of around 200-250 bp swings on it, and it is 100% game ready!!

  • Pros: Exactly what the other reviewer said, the Twisted Mistress is great, but the Miken is just a little better. There is no vibration on the Miken. You can't go wrong with either bat though.

  • Pros: First and foremost I am not a homerun hitter, but this bat has changed that for me. When I don't hit it over the wall, I am hitting ropes with a lot of top spin. this bat is definitely a max end load but it swings through the zone like a balanced bat. The grip for me is perfect for this bat. After 40 swings this bat is fire hot, definitely a happy customer.

  • Pros: Absolutely love this bat. It does all the work for you. Amazing pop and great control. I usually am a DeMarini person but this Miken is insane. I use it in my men’s leagues, my women’s leagues, coed leagues, and tournaments. It’s one of those bats that comes out of the wrapper with insane pop. I highly recommend this bat.
  • Cons: Haven’t found a downside to it.

  • Pros: Love the new bat. Picked it up a month ago after I got tired of using dead bats and cranked out 4 HR's in my first three games (I even hit one from each side of the plate in my 3rd game). It didn't need broken in (I just hit 1 round in the cages before my first game with it). The bat "feels" lighter than my other 27 oz bats, which is probably due to the thicker grip on the handle.
  • Cons: I would say the biggest con is the price...but I believe you get what you pay for in this sense.

  • Pros: The bat was hot out of the wrapper. It was bought as a team bat and has performed awesomely in warm and cold weather. Even our little guys are hitting the ball with more pop.
